75mph with 33s according to the gps

Whenever I'd go to cruise Moab, I'd write down the odometer reading at mile marker 100 and then write it down again at the Utah line. On new 33s, my 60 was typically around 13% low, thus if the speedo read 75 the actual speed was 75*1.13=85. This would typically diminish a bit each year with tread wear until new tires and start over. This of course assumes the speedo and odo calibration agree with each other.

Since the 80 is down I decided to swap the rosens over. They are planning to release a larger version for the 60 sometime this year.

Rosens are right at home.

Had some time this afternoon. Oil change, Greased the driveline, replaced the fuel filter, new clutch and power steering fluid.

Adjusted the steering box a bit.

Tire date code is 3415. Starting to shop for new meats. I was never a fan of these wheels. Going 15 or 16" pizza cutters. Specifics TBD.

Just sayin’…

Yeah... I am pretty much going back and forth between your setup and @MDH33. Are you running the city racer repo wheels?

33x9.5x15 or 255/85/16. The dealership in Glenwood can get those sexy 70 series wheels for $183 each.

After some rye last night I was looking at the 255/85/17 but I expect those would rub and be a bit big for the current gearing. Maybe....? 1st in the H55 feels pretty low. I need to keep reminding myself the 80 is here for the hard stuff. 33s are perfect for the 60.

Pull the trigger!

The 70 series wheels and 255/85r16 are just right. 👍

They look so good! I might stay with the toyo too. I have actually been surprised by the snow performance. Right now they are just loooooud but I am guessing that's partly due to the age and lack of rotation from the PO.

Fronts are just about dead.

What suspension are you running under there?

Yeah, I like the Toyo MT's too. Just put a set on my work truck as well.

Suspension is just a regular OME Dakar medium setup.

70 series wheels are ordered! $816 shipped for 5 ain't bad.

Now for the rubber choice in the 255/85/16 flavor. Another set of Toyos? Or KM3s?

Significant weight difference between the two flavors.

7lbs per wheel is noticeable especially in an F engined beast. I have 33x10.50x15 KMs on JDM 60 series wheels and they look good and work pretty well on Bart. You mentioned you are running stock 3.70s?

I am pretty sure it is on stock 3.70. I should jack it up and confirm at some point. I don't have a ton of history on the truck before the prior owner. I can't find info on the current wheels, but they are alloys and on the lighter side. For the Toyos the 255s are 4lbs lighter each. .
