@KC Masterpiece I’m not able to look at my ‘87 right now but the picture of your back seat latch pin does not look like a stock part. The picture of the 62 version looks like what I remember mine to be. Anyone else with a late model 60 to verify? What do you think @Cruisertrash?
My seats have been recovered, so it is quite possible that the stock latch pin was replaced.

@RDub I think we need a better photo from @KC Masterpiece

Looks like some footage of Bigfoot to be honest. What @Crash shows is what I have as original equipment from 1982, and I’d thus argue those posts remained the same through the entire 6x run.

Kevin I have spares if you want me just mail ‘em.

Non Bigfoot photo of my setup. You can see how this will really eat your shin.

I cant feel any threading for where the OEM bolts up, so not sure what's going on in my seat back.

I would definitely take you up on that! Lets wait until I am ready to move forward with the carb and airbox swap. I will need to order the 62 style fusible link kit to make that happen, and I bet they would fit in that box.

Well mine has never ran because it was never hooked up. I wanted to test it in prep for returning to a more factory carb setup. All I did was ground the sensor. It definitely blasted all sorts of crap out when it first fired up.

Just dug around under my hood and found the white ground wire/connector to the thermo switch was broken, right at the switch. As I handled it, the other end of the wire broke right at the base of the connector. I wonder if there's a way to get these green (very brittle) connectors apart to solder on new wire? Or should I just delete it and run a new solid wire to the thermo switch? (But, kind of like keeping things stock)

If the thermo switch isn’t hooked up the fan should run for the full 20 mins after shut down. So it should run anyway. Make sure you have 12V at the plug to the fan. It really does temp a lot with hot starts.

Also there’s an issue some people have with the float bowl emptying into the intake manifold after a hot shutdown. Most people don’t experience it but there’s a few of us. When you restart all that puddles fuel will cause some black smoke out the tailpipe. No known cause or solution.

Okay folks.....

This is not a For Sale thread.... yet.... but I am looking for some assistance to help price this rig if we go down that path.

I have been trying to convince myself otherwise but more and more I keep coming to the conclusion that a moderately built 200 is our future, and the 60 and 80 would need to find new homes to make that happen.

Or if one of you is lurking out there looking to get out of a 200 or into a 60... lets chat.

I've had mine for over 2 years and 16k miles, no issues whatsoever. With the electric motor you get instant kick you in the you know what acceleration and no turbo lag. Toyota's got a quarter century of experience with hybrids, they've got it down. And there's no way a 200 is going to get the 24MPG I'm getting. While A-Trac has its place, I prefer the diff locks standard on the 250.

It's always smiles per mile in a Land Cruiser, not miles per gallon.
