absolutely, Mark... all are welcome. Anything in particular you want to talk about?

Lisa, same question?

Thanks! Anything above "press here to talk" GMRS would be valuable to me

I'd love to learn how to set a private channel an "un-rubix cube" my radio after my kid gets ahold of it lol

Ok sweet, GMRS is arguably my worst subject here, lol. Who knows this stuff? Want to come enlighten some folks?

I might be able to make this as well, private channels and repeater access. Depending on time I work until 6:00 that night.

New location: Mesa County Fairgrounds?

:bolt:

The date is tough but I was figuring if I could swing it I'd stand by for a ColCon or APRS contact if you wanted.

Remember that each evening at 1830 is the Colorado Emergency Reporting net on ColCon and 1900 is the Colorado Traffic (ARRL message traffic, not vehicle) net. If you want to demonstrate it be sure to listen first and a check-in would be a nice gesture.

For anyone who wants to do a get-together, how does your Wednesday night look next week, 6/18? I'm willing to set this up if anyone else wants to come out- Post up if so, I'll post up a location, time, etc.

This wouldn't be a class. This would be a more informal touch & feel & use multiple radios, see some setups, demo of communications, ask questions, etc. If there are any specifics someone wants to learn about, post that up ahead of time, we'll do our best to address it in person.

I'm down too. I can bring a few examples of our various GMRS antennas. I have a "portable" repeater I can bring, as well as simple SWR meters.

A number of us could explain all of the above, lot simpler than anything sounds. I still have my Overland Expo presentations too if anyone wants to fall asleep.

Looks like I am going to miss this, too much going on too little time to do it. Hopefully next time.
