Day 1 - Still building strength back in my left leg, along with an in-op right shoulder (MRI last Mon. & Follow-up this Mon. to establish which kind of replacement we'll be doing - standard or reverse socket replacement) made these little jobs a little harder...getting up on the tailgate from a step ladder was somewhat comical...

Removed the broken bug/rock shield on the hood

Removed the broken pieces of rear wind deflector - placed bolts back in captured nuts to protect threads for now...

Both casualties to a severe hail storm.

And changing the battery in the YotaMD Key Fob :)

Baby steps...(somewhat literally)

Nice work!

I actually like it better without the bug deflector...I should have taken that off a long time ago.

It makes the front look a lot cleaner.

I bought a replacement (although not OEM Toyota like the one that was on there)...we'll see after my bondo/rattle-can job on the hood if one goes back on.

I had to fight the urge to put the new grille on, with the front bumper install and hood work still pending, doesn't make sense to do that until after.

Okay guys,

I've finally started my build thread over on Mud. I'll probably make that the primary thread and update
here a little less often. I'm not an RS member so that makes a little more sense.
Obviously, feel free to chime in here or over there.

Cheers & Thanks for everything RS Guys & Gals!

@nakman

New vinyl on, Thanks for sending it!

Decided to mask it off and give it two coats of clear to see if that will protect against carwash damage
and general road wear...

It's apparent close-up but disappears at like 5 or 6 feet.

Oh, and as you can see, I Sharpie'd that mounting bolt black so it didn't look like a ill-positioned umlaut with that dot on the third "i"

Nice touch with the clear coat! would be great if that lasted longer than the first time around. One of those things I've wanted to make better, but every idea just comes with added cost. So I just keep sending stickers to anyone who asks for one, thanks again for the re-branding effort!

Finally...ordered these in August.
They say they produced them and shipped them twice but I never got them...
All the other things I order make it to my house just fine.
Anyway, had them shipped to the DMV since I figured it would be harder for them to fail
and picked them up this morning.
