Alright, time to get into this years train trip!
Current plan is to ride the the train on Friday June 13th. Planning on a bus from Antonito and the train back to Chama. I just tried setting up a reservation for us but seems things might be a bit different this year? If anyone else is phone savvy all I'm trying to get is us to be together on the train. Maybe a few of us call and they get the idea?
Cumbres & Toltec
Otherwise excited to get down there. Kick off summer right.
Would like to see who's definitely going this year.

By the way what time is departure on Friday?
I will not be riding the train on Friday as my dog (Buddy) would not make it in the camper all day. So I will be at the camping site most of the day if any other person thinking of bringing their dog and needs a dog sitter.
I'm bringing hankdog, so i won't be train riding, i'm just wheeling and camping
Clarify a bit please....0830 bus from Antonito to Chama and then train back? Looks like about an 8 hour day, yes? And what "level" of priced ticket are we shooting for? Coach, Deluxe, other......Thanks.
I might take you up on this. We have a new dog and my wife needs me to take her with me as she’ll be working late. Oops, yeah, saw that. Thanks anyway.Bradley,
Unfortunately, in a previous post, I have backed out of the trip as I have a contract on my Moab house and need to move during that time.
Thanks. I think I found a free one in Alamosa at the Maverick station. It looks like they may have free potable water too.Dump stations in Southern Colorado depending on your route back to Denver area. Both are $10.
