York right in front of turbo. Things are tight. This definitely Factored into my decision to go this route.

thats pretty! really like that detroit green...you could get crazy with like dt466 international blue to highlight the lettering in keeping with the relatively obscure diesel engine color scheme...

torx head screws in place of those phillips oil pump screws will help the next guy.
15183-66020 is what my records show for the pn I used when I did the terrible triad of front oil leaks ...
that is the same pn as original phillips head pn so not sure if that pn was reused when toyota updated to torx head screws or not. either that or i bought 2 diff pns and only have a pic of the phillips head pn bottom left of the inventory pic below

Which ARP stud kit did you go with? Seems like some use the supra, opal, and the 1fz kit...with varying results and fitments if the internet can be believed :D I suspect I'll have to go that route with a cometic HG to make up some head milling height.

Update on my ARP stud experience as I can't just edit my earlier post. Kit# 203-4205 (Supra)

The supra kit came up 2 threads short on the nut for full engagement. After a phone call to ARP they gave me the following info:

Block engagement spec 0.750"
Nut is within spec one thread short but their goal is flush with the kits

Hand tight my studs were in the bock 25mm (0.980") so well past the ARP spec. Had the builder back them off 1.5 threads and proceed with torque sequence on the head.

Awesome! Was the new harness worth every penny? I would imagine much easier to install and then you know all connections are solid?

It looked pretty in the bag. Builder put it on not me. But I feel like it was well worth it for piece of mind. We all know the fear of trying to disconnect a 20+ year old sensor without breaking the brittle clips. And while my EGR area had not failed on my current harness the new one now has an insulator around it.

Nice, I just checked on that harness price a couple weeks ago and it's not for the faint of heart.
