Trekboxx replacement tailgate. Not cheap, but fits perfectly and comes with rhino liner coating, so very durable.

I was wondering. I recognized that color.

So, and not to downplay trekboxx, is it plywood with a spray in liner? Or does he use some kind of composite, etc.?

I was wondering too and found this on their website "LINE-X coated Baltic Birch panel in Black, Tan, or Gray" or you can do "Richlite" which is a fibre board made of recycled materials. It looks pretty easy to make with a Jig saw, Router and some Line X.

Replaced my starter and intake manifold gaskets on Saturday. Took about six hours, but considering that this was the first semi-major repair I've ever done on my own, I thought that was pretty reasonable. :D

Before (yes, I covered the intakes before doing any further work ;) ):

Oh man, I don't know if I have the patience or strength to do this on someone else's vehicle. I'd be happy to drink beers and "supervise" though. :ROFLMAO:

Finally lifted my daily driver that I said I'd leave stock. Oh well. Thanks @MTSN for the tires.

Awesome! How did those clear on the 4th gen? My buddy also has a 4th gen V8 with 285/70/17s on there now, and he wants to go bigger. I personally love the 285/70/18, so if it cleared ok on yours I'll suggest it for him. He has a Toytec 3" lift and has done some clearancing already, and it looks like he has a decent bit of room.

Pulled out the A/C Evaporator core as part of the system overhaul because the compressor crapped out. Not bad for 26 years and 320,000 miles. It will clean up just fine.

That's a lot of gunk. Makes me wonder what mine looks like with 245K.
Yup. Easy to remove but you have to evacuate the AC system. I'll be cleaning and reinstalling, with all new seals, receiver/dryer, and expansion valve.

Getting that thing clean will feel better than having clean underwear on. I bet you're AC is gonna kick a$$ now.

I have a feeling my AC system might be evacuate in the near future to make room to slide in a fresh rebuild ;)

Ordered a new one. Denso $125 at Partsgeek.com. No idea how many cans of cleaner I'd need to run through the fins of the old one trying to get out all the grit and fibers.

Replaced the screens in my rear sliding windows. Love being able to camp in the back of the 60 with the rear windows open and not have to worry about bugs.

New carpet, sound deadening in the main cab flooring, heated bmw seats, and new radiator and condensor, battery isolator. The sound deadening in the cab made a bigger difference than I thought it would.
