4x4 labs has nice designs. That looks great.

Thanks! Agree his design is top notch.

Did Luke redesign the latching system? Can you post a close-up

It is a custom system I added. Its pretty basic. I can only get pics of it apart at the moment as I lubed and wrapped the spindle to prevent rust. I added a spring loaded pin with a stainless strike plate as a fail-safe. There's also a 1" thick piece of cutting board material bolted to the underside of the arm to reduce flex when clamping.

Got my soft top on. Afaik no one has put a bestop soft top on a aqualu body. The b pillars are a little different so that was a obstacle. I installed caps and modified the poles. Rig is roadworthy now.

Sometimes you have to work on the wife's rig. She complained about the headlights in her 2015 Impreza LTD bringing the suck. So I ordered a Baja Designs fog light upgrade kit for her. Before they showed up we started talking about trading it in. Well this week we picked up her 2017 Impreza. The new limited has LED projector headlights that are actually very good. They also turn with the car. But the fog lights are still near worthless. Not anymore. Finished product looks OEM and put out 1800 lumens each. The kit also included pigtails so the the lights plug into the OEM harness.

There is a fit kit for the new Tacoma and 4Runner for these too from memory.

Turned all the chrome bits into black bits, added a set of Bushwackers and dropped in some taillight upgrades. Later this week, I'll swap the third brake light and headlight units. Feels good to be working on a truck again even if it is just cosmetic stuff for now.

Couple of weeks of day job travel coming up. Hopefully, when I get back, all the fun stuff will start to arrive.

Rebuilt my front e-locker actuator this past weekend. Did the rear e-locker (after the Cruise Moab campsite rebuild) two weeks ago. Tip: if you have not rebuilt your actuators in 24 years, its time. Fairly easy to do. Great instructions on Mud. Happy to host an actuator party sometime.

Finally got all my antennas and cables run for my HAM and CB radios, as well as getting my stereo up and running too with my Alpine marine speakers all in my Tuffy trunk that's coming along. I'm so anal about tidy wiring that it seems to take for ever for me to finish electrical projects.

Replaced the leaking pinion seal which involved a lot of new differential tools and holder.

I made a 3D printed pinion seal driver SST if anyone needs one.

Dan, nice project!

Drew, that sounds great! Post up some pics if you get a chance!

Jeff, that's cool!

That's all I got, haven't worked on mine for a bit.

FINALLY decided that the running boards weren't cool anymore and installed Slee slider steps. Probably get a short bus bumper next and then a lift and then...and then...
