Got a snow tire theme going this week. Just put the little studded 35’s on the 80.

I can't imagine anyone would want to buy them LOL

Somebody will need a cheap set of tires who can’t afford what they want.

Edit, Sold mine already.

Some things that haven’t been touched in 10+ years - or ever.

cap and rotor, spark plug wires, PCV stuff and a bunch of other hoses, new vapor canister, starter, alternator, belts, fan clutch plus some new power and ground wires. Still need to clean up the wiring and delete some old obsolete mods. Then see if she will start…

Work continues on not-my-rig. Cylinders 3,4 and 5 are pretty crusty. Sludge galore in the oil pan. Nothing glaring on the head gasket but the garage was dark and cold and I didn't get much of a chance to look closely. Hopefully no cracks in the head. Tomorrow I'll inspect everything and strip the block bare. Randomly sized (13mm 🤮) bolts here and there. Everything in the aluminum intake manifold is stripped, so Im probably looking at finding a new one. Many connections loose, seems like someone was in it and haphazardly threw it back together. It needs love in a bad way. Trying to have some understanding for the pre-internet mechanics that likely worked on it. Maybe I would have done some of the same in a pinch. These days theres no excuse.

Well. I did way less than @dan1554 to my 2F. Just a quick oil change while dinner was in the oven last night. Toyota really nailed it with that oil filter location!

Hmmm, mine has a fair amount of smog spaghetti in that area.

Found some Yakima load bars and towers in the garage that fit the 250. This will have to work for now. Yakima ski box should arrive next week.

You should get a Gamaviti roof rack 👇

That was my plan but cash flow won’t allow at this time. Have to revisit come spring. My garage is like a Yakima showroom with all the various parts I’ve accumulated over the years. Anyone need ski attachments? I think I have 3 maybe 4 pairs.

The good thing is the rod bearings are readily sourced in several sizes. When I rebuilt my 2F they had to cut the crank down 20 thousandths but I had no problem finding the bearings.
