Have you tried adjusting the box? That made minor improvements on my 80 and a world of difference on the 60.
Not yet. I need to research this and figure out how to.

I installed icon 2.5 shocks from a GX on my 80. In order to have stock-ish uptravel, I raised the shock mount points a couple inches to compensate for the longer shock body.

Hole cut…

Welded up (not the prettiest but she’ll ride)

And done! (ft. sliced away bar link)

I ended up flipping the reservoirs inward but I’m too lazy to crawl back under and get an updated photo.

Fixed the fusible link that burned out and came off the battery causing the 80 to breakdown on the red cone night run. Had to splice in a new connector because mine was wrecked. Huge thanks to @jps8460 and @DanielChase for all the help with diagnosing and parts!

Completed this little project last night. JB weld isn’t real pretty but it holds.
I’m still fighting the wobble. 🤦‍♂️😢🤬
This is something that was always on the back burner.i was looking but not looking if ya know what I mean. Came across a these lights. The top two tabs on the driver light broke in shipping. This is the fixed product.
I’ll take this little victory. It’s the little small things.

Upgraded to the 99+ 3rd gen air box, MAF and intake tube. Fairly easy job and now I don't have an airbox with giant holes in it or a cracked bracket where my old MAF attached. Also if my MAF ever does go out the new ones are still available at the parts store with the Denso label for like 100 bucks as opposed to the old style only being available currently on Amayama for 577.

Resealed turbo oil supply line. Noticed just a wisp of smoke the other day from just a very minor leak. Pulled hose and fitting. Reapplied some more high temp sealant to the treads.

Tire rotation and brake inspection. First time really using my new Badlands Jack from Harbor freight. Saved my back from carrying my old 3-ton over the gravel. Should pay for itself in reduced chiropractic visits. While I’ve had the Makita impact for a year I love that thing. So much easier than dealing with the hose and noise of the old pneumatic. I keep the Makita in the truck at all times.
