So do I! I haven't even driven it yet. Need to run all new brake lines, brakes, Get my seats done, and replace all the suspension first. Anyone want to be fed and housed for a weekend in Summit and play land cruisers?

I was going to stick a lawn chair in there and call it. The brakes are more important. My original master was shot so now I need to convert everything over from 9mm to the 10mm standard.

First drive should be doorless and topless. Those are just too fun with the roof off and it has an added benefit of giving you more leg room that way. If you have two people, it takes a whopping 2 minutes to take the roof off. Click the three latches across the front, and the 5 across the back, and have one guy just walk through the middle of the truck with it. Simple as you can get. :) I wanted to make some sort of carrier in the bed to pad it and keep it secured when you do that. Never did...meh.

I'll come do that if you come take 3 cords of wood away. ;) Seriously though, if I get my forest in good enough shape in the next week or two I might be up for that, maybe.

I am still planning on coming to get some wood. Maybe next weekend? Friday night or Saturday? Load as much as possible into my 80 twice? 6' logs? Ill bring my saw.

Anytime that is good for you. I'm around until October 22nd, doing pretty much nothing other than cutting wood.

Can't wait to see this rig come together. Such a sweet 45.

I can't wait either. Progress will slow as soon as the weather turns but hoping to have her axles and brakes all done before then.

More progress

Got the front axle and suspension swapped. Need new rod ends and relay rod end because it was a right hand drive front axle.

That does look much better.

Why the stock springs weren't just at the height of the OME springs I have no idea. They really just look "right" on a 40 series.

Dan

I don't think Land Cruiser's look stock and less they have a 2 1/2 inch lift and 33's on it. Ha.
