Wow…not sure how I missed this thread when it was fresh, but all of the comments sure hit close to home with me. Ever since we purchased the 40 acres on Mt Princeton I have been preoccupied with forestry management and trying to build our mountain getaway…not as much on wheeling. I contemplate (almost daily) selling vehicles…one day it’s the 40, the next it’s the 80! The sprinter van thing comes up every once in a while as we think about retirement, but I think our route would be a 20’ camper since I have the 2017 Duramax. I don’t know how I ever lived without a 3/4 ton truck. The only thing I might trade the truck for would be a 1 ton with 8’ bed! I do hope to get the 80 going again, but the 40 just sits so much that the yellow jackets have made it their home. Sad.

The best camper is the one that actually gets used… I’m pretty bummed I didn’t win the Howl Dodge Baja rig giveaway.
