Foot forward mounting of the new winch. Remotely mounted control box and indexed free spool lever for better access. Nice view of the spool. Thanks for the advice from Jeff Mendocino and Adam On the rx!

Tcase rebuilt w/ Marlin lower range and 2wd spool. Should be mating to the new trans later today, but first I have to build my wife a raised garden bed thing.

Rebuilt my charcoal canister because new OEM ones are $600!!!! I spent $20 at Petsmart and got 80oz of granulated activated carbon for fish tank filters. Thanks to @nakman the new saw it works perfectly!

Also replaced the worn hoses. The new blue hose came from Sandia National Labs! Coolest thing on my truck now.

I never heard about the Russian ecu hack.. interesting

Yep - I've got some friends who're into drifting that recommended this guy https://dm-gadget.com/ for defeating the immobilizer. His products apparently work, but shipping takes some time, especially w/ COVID stuff.

Essentially the way it works is the 2uz has the transponder amp which passes a code down to the ECU. The ECU compares it to a master key set stored in a EEPROM chips memory. This kit replaces the EEPROM w/ pre-programmed keys, then there is a transponder amplifier emulator that sends down the matching code when it gets turned on. I had to do some surface mount soldering to get it done, but not too bad otherwise. He does offer the service to do the PCB rework himself, I just opted out because COVID.

Damn! You're moving really fast!

Thanks! Quarantine life I guess... ha.

Got the filter for the A750F sitting/waiting for me at Stevinson, so hoping to get that done today. Dropped off the rear shaft off for lengthening at Colorado Driveshaft yesterday. I decided I'd preemptively do the timing belt too. Hopefully we'll be doing burnouts by next weekend. :-)

Got the PS system plumbed and primed yesterday. Used some AN fittings for street cred.

Love the swap. I would love to have an a750f in my 80 series...and a v8 is a nice bonus too :)

Wholesale automatics valve body came in from Australia. Glad to get it done outside of the vehicle and to have avoided an atf shower.

You'll like what the new valve body brings to the party. Rodney does good work for our vehicles.
