Did a lot this weekend to my 92 fj80 this last weekend. Had to modify the oil pan so I went the extra mile. Oil pan gasket, new harmonic balancer, timing cover gasket, front crank seal, water pump, fan clutch, and valve cover gaskets.

That's definitely a good reason for "...while I'm in there..."

Got a pic from Jeremiah at Proffitt's this week, as they finished working on the 4runner. Had a Eazi-Awn roof rack and Sliders installed (powder coated to match cladding). Plan to go pick it up this coming weekend. So will get more pics then. Yeah, i'm excited for Cruise Moab!

Oh, it was just a guess. There are many people who are doing head gaskets and tapping their oil pans for the turbo kit that Wits End is putting into production. Swing and a miss.

Yeah but 6k plus the prep work like you said head gasket if you haven't done it yet and install.. you will be at 10k.. that's like 2 ls swaps

That pic is a pic of the LS motor in my 80. I had to pull the oil pan and notch it out to clear the tie rod better. So i did a bunch of other repairs at the same time. But when I was considering an 80 I thought about going with a 1fz turbo. They make good power.

Finally welded in the Landtank heavy-duty front sway bar brackets on my 80. Bought these in a group buy that @Romer arranged 10 years ago. The bushings are pretty worn -- I'm thinking I will be back in there before long.

Tariffs can't be that bad right... Looks like 4 dollars of steel.. not 50 dollars of steal
We have so much good steel at work the guys scrap, lots of 1/4 diamond plate, 2x3 , 1x1.. I feel like a crackhead because I'm always digging through the scrap bin.

I like the silver on everything Perry! It's a nice change from black!

Tossed in a new set of plugs and wires. The change is very noticable! The gaps on the po plugs were double the recommended gap. I should have dug onto this a year ago

Forgot to post this. Picked up the 4runner from Proffitt's last weekend. Roof Rack and Sliders are on. About all i'll be able to get done in time for CM.
