Jax Trax today. A really fun new trail. Between Fins and Hells for difficulty. We went a different route than the prerun in March and it was a lot better

Tomorrow I am leading Poison Spyder and then likely heading home so you will have to wait for pictures

Here is something you don't see every day. Two of the 28 Kimberley Kampers in the Us next to each other

Worked out. Carlos from Nitro blew his CV axle on his 100 series. I had a new one I carried as a spare that I gave him. Told him he had to contact my parts guy to order a replacement OEM for me. He said great, how do I get ahold of him? I said the guy right next to me (Cruiserdan) and he gave him his CC and walked away with a brand new2 OEM CV axle :D

I got to lead a great group on Behind the Rocks on Thursday, and demonstrated, at least on one occasion, how not to do some things... Here are a few pics:

One of my favorite places for a pic

Me on High Dive. I thought my boss was going to have a open req after this one...

Jessie on the Upchuck "bypass", which has challenges of its own

I didn't get any photos of Rob, but he and Rich headed back at the Lone Rock lunch stop. We continued on, but Jessie broke at least one tooth off his rear ring gear on Hummer Hill, so we all headed back. Fantastic day!!

I led the Pickle on Friday and, again, had a great group.

Mike on the first ledge. Unfortunately, on a perfectly normal looking attempt, he did something I've never seen before: He broke both u-joints on the rear drive shaft at the same time, and the whole shaft fell to the ground.

Greg, in his Cummins powered, 4-wheel steer, Rockwell driven, lengthened, but other than that bone stock 40, on the first ledge

Jim, getting his 80 up that ledge

A couple of Greg in the Pickle. There's a pretty good chance you've not seen this line taken before

Greg on the next ledge. You gotta love an oil burning crawler

Greg's rig is probably over 100" between the outside edges of the wheels. The shelf at the top of that ledge is a little narrower than that...

We exited the trail to the right on 3D, and ended up doing Mashed Potatoes on the way out. It's not the easiest trail to navigate, but it is fun.

Another great day in Moab.

Here are some pics from Fins 'n Things on Thursday. Lead by Jeff Zepp. We had 16 rigs.
Thank you Jeff for leading a great run. :thumb:
We didn't have any breakages and everyone made it out safe.

Our fearless tail gunner, taking the big drop. :thumb:

Poison Spyder Mesa yesterday. I led with Randy in the nice FJ40 gunned. Had to send a 60 back to town after trying to fix his leaky Tcase. We zip tied rags on it after cleaning up.

I didn't take many pics this year.

I wore out a TRE on the drive to Moab on Wednesday, so on Thursday I replaced it and then Steve, Abe (and vickie) and I went exploring. We found a river.

Fins on friday, and yesterday I lead E-Hill. Absolutely great day for E-hill. We had a ton of fun, didn't break anything, and I got back to Slickrock at about 8PM with a touch over 3/4 of a tank left. ;)

I'll go through the pics I have and see what is good...

Sounds like good times. I remember my first Cruise Moab and doing E Hill. The 3 FJ40's in the group all rolled into Moab well after the group on fumes after splitting the last 5 gallon can. :hill:

The WiFi at Slickrock wasn't working again (imagine that) so I didn't want to chew up all my data on my phone uploading stuff. So here are a few:

Wipout Hill Friday. As always, an !EPIC! Gamiviti sponsored delightful run. No one's mentioned this yet, but this has to have been the BEST weather at Cruise Moab out the 16 that I've gone to. No rain, no snow, Goldilocks temperature and not even hardly any wind. It was so awesome! And there were fewer breakages (subjectively) than past years too.

The food on Tim's Wipeout runs is awesome. This year BVB brought smoked pulled pork, Tim brought planked salmon, Boyd brought marinated pork tenderloin and baguette, I brought greek pasta salad and asparagus saled, and someone bought a giant carrot cake. Mmmmm

More from Wipeout Hill, starting with Robbie giving a clinic in how to choose (lines) wisely.
