I really like the one I put in my truck (got mah wife the same one). Android based cheap jobby, but got the rear view camera and the dash cam. No OBDII on the 80, so that's not really relevant.

Edit: I should probably at least mention the head unit is an Atoto S8
I had a similar chinese headunit a few years ago(Eonon). Out of the box and for the first year it was great, second year it started to get glitchy and slower but still functional, by the third year it was almost unusable. But that was about 5 years ago, so I would imagine they have gotten better. I think the main reason of the degradation was they stop providing updates for the software after they are about a year old.

Yeah, this Atoto (Japanese I think) seemed to have a pretty faithful following, so I took a chance. No complaints so far, but only had it for about a year.

Man I would love one of those headunits but I'm having a tough time finding one that would fit my criteria. I want one with the screen that can tilt up above the dins since my slots are so low it would be distracting using it for navigation. I found a few but they are ultra cheap which I'm wary of and there seems to be complaints about them being very quiet among other random issues. Also want a unit that is either android based or can mirror my phone so that I could use an offroad navigation app on it.

Old Philmont Scout Ranch Ranger axe. And now it’s mine. Still working to learn the full history on these but as I understand it currently they only issued them with the brand embossed two summers. My father-in-law’s from the mid 60’s didn’t have it nor either of his two younger brothers.
