Wonder how long before they are outlawed? Infinite possibilities for trouble. :hill:
I'm 99% sure these would fall under the 1st amendment and therefore protect as free speech and freedom of expression. No different then anyone having "baby up in this bitch" or 'how's my driving? Call 1800 eat shit" etc, etc.

I think you're going to see these everywhere soon.

I looked for them on Amazon. There are tons of options:

Sadly I'm just imagining this leading to threats of pulling a firearm. That happened to me in a road rage incident when I was in my early 20s. I don't think I ever even figured what I supposedly did wrong but the guy followed me for like 5 minutes off the freeway till I parked at a gas station and went balistic.

glorifying high capacity magazines in light of all the mass shootings is a new low.
You misspelled standard capacity.....

I wonder if one could make something like this with the ultra-gauge and a sacrificial bezel. I'm going to have to pull mine out and see how close it is.

not quite a clean, but then you can access the buttons on the rear of the UG. I have one on the way.

The Subaru doesn't have a temp gauge (only a too-late light), so it ended up with a blown the engine. Now that it's fixed, I had been meaning to add a temp gauge, but when I got mah wife a new head unit for xmas, I picked up a wireless obdII reader. Since the Torque app shows everything I'd need, including a temp gauge, I don't need to buy and install a separate gauge.

Can you set any kind of alarm limits on the temp for the app? And will this still work while you're actually using the stereo?- I actually had a similar set up quite a few years ago with a chinese android headunit in my old bmw and it worked pretty well but I never used it that often. But it was nice to be able to scan codes as soon as a CEL pops up on the dash. Not sure how much better they are these days but I would imagine quite a bit.

I haven't played around with it too much, but there are options for alarms. And you can play the stereo while using it (but they can't be on the screen at the same time afaik)

I really like the one I put in my truck (got mah wife the same one). Android based cheap jobby, but got the rear view camera and the dash cam. No OBDII on the 80, so that's not really relevant.

Edit: I should probably at least mention the head unit is an Atoto S8
