It’s nice but “matching numbers” and a 2F doesn’t add up, nor does “original specifications” and a front disc axle.
It's still an F engine though. The disc brakes, yeah, those didn't start until '76 so obviously that's not original either. Both are nice upgrades, but definitely not original. As for the matching numbers, meh....engine and chassis numbers don't match on those anyway so I don't think anyone would care.

Looking close at that FJ25, did they paint the drivetrain the same green as the body? And the instrument cluster as well as the glove box are green. I'm not a 25-series expert but shouldn't those be sliver like a 40-series? Vintage Air? Along with whats already been mentioned. I can't call this "restored to factory standards" as advertised. It's beautiful but not an all original example IMHO. Seems misleading. Which makes me want to question the whole truck if I was in the market.

Wouldn't surprise me if it's one of those Colombian or Venezuelan "restorations." I keep seeing them on BaT and they are held together with spit and baling wire. This FJ25 may be one of those.

it's weird, but i do think they did paint the drivetrain the same green. only the frame should be green underneath. axles/springs/drivelines/transmission should be black. yes, the fj25s had the glove boxes and cluster surrounds painted body color. would have looked a little more vintage with clear front turn lenses and a classic denso heater, but would i rock it? hell yeah

This FJ25 is so damn cool I couldn't not post it here for everyone to drool on their keyboards.

There’s a post on MUD about that one…it’s been for sale for a while on BAT, FB, Craigslist, etc.

I’d personally rather have Nathan’s:

Well known Cruiserhead who’s spent the time and money to collect all the rare and hard to find parts. Plus it’s got its original patina!
