40 Watts isn't much for a solar panel. Maybe if all you need is to charge a cell phone or something. It would take days to recharge a battery backup like a Bluetti or similar. It seems like an eye catchy item, but not very feasible IMO.

That is pretty cool. As noted by Gabriele the 40 watt solar panel is weak. It would take 25.6 hours to fully charge it from zero under perfect conditions, though. You couldn't really fit a higher output solar panel due to the size constraints. At least not with 2025 technology.

Gabriele, you might have missed the fact that it is a 1024 watt hour Lifepo battery power station. The solar panel is intended to charge the internal battery rather than external devices. :)

I did catch that. If the battery gets depleted while camping or what have you, if you don't have another power source to recharge it, it's really not going to be very functional for much else. Sorry, I should have been more elaborate in my response. In comparison, I had a 200W panel on my 1800W Bluetti, and it took the charge from 10% to 60% in one summer day while camping. That was with me moving it throughout the day for better sun direction. So that thousand watt battery is going to discharge and not get a recharge worth beans with only 40W of solar panels. It does say that it is compatible with other external solar panels. So that poses the question. Why not just buy a lifepo battery and decent solar panels?

That's sort of what I expected...under-performing solar panel (mostly due to square inches)

I'd make one of them a low rider

I've wanted to bag a Divco for decades now. I'm sure it would not be as cool to kids today, but imagine rolling up in a Divco milk truck that is now an ice cream truck. Piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiisssssssssssssh. Ice cream is served!

My Datsun has a 2 post hole so this caught my eye too! This appears to be a single din hole and wont work with a old school hole. If it's already been cut for a single din this is a great solution!

Actually, I am an idiot! It does bolt into a 2 post hole. If had just scrolled down past the feature list. The back is large, so your FJ should be good!! My little Datsun maybe... need to find a reseller with decent return policy just incase.
