I have not had the dirty bird since the night I turned 21. That experience was well below average. This one is pretty tasty.

Ok I know this is super low brow and maybe embarrassing but curious, like kettle one vodka sold as Kirkland signature…..

i have been seeing Kirkland single barrel and “small batch” lately which is apparently made by Barton

Has anyone tried Costco bourbon?

Sorry exiting stage left. Lol
Wait! I can't remember who but I've also heard rumor of this Costco bourbon being worthwhile, maybe we could test it on Perry?

I’ve heard Barton as well so I’m sure it’s fine. But it theory it could change over time depending on who has surpluses to unload. If you’re into the 1792 profile it might be really good.

Trying to decide if I should keep this for my own collection or take it as my thanksgiving offering at this year’s family dinner? Anyone familiar?

Edit: Opened this up tonight. Very nice. The wine cask finish is the right amount of subtle on the finish. Super smooth. Maybe too sweet for some.

I like bourbon so much, I can't remember if I replied to this thread about bourbon but I prob did....

My go to is Bulliet Rye, relatively cheap but a good week night sipper.
I may or may not have 10+ bottles of Eagle Rare.
I prob have at least 15 bottles of Blanton's unopened, took me 3 years to get all the letters that spell Blanton's in unopened bottles.
Pretty sure I have all the series Weller makes
Blood oath
Angles Envy
A few EH Taylor's
Elmer T lee
H Deringer

and on and on....

I have a few decent selections. This is about 1/4 of what I have on hand.

Weller Special reserve is amazing, the 12 year is even better. Local store up here had the 12 year on the shelf, I inquired. $35.

What?

Ok........a real "He Man" bourbon drinking question.

- Pros and Cons of a crystal decanter and glasses for both storage and drinking bourbon? My lovely wife purchased me a super cool crystal decanter and glass set for my Buffalo Trace in the man cave. I've never had one and not sure if there is a proper way of using it. Cheers.
