Who’s going to skip the 250 and go right to 40’s on a LC Se?

I have a question to anyone who has sat in one. How is the visibility? The 200 is great, but it "feels" like I am sitting in a fortress compared to my 100. The size looks awesome, but it won't mean a thing if I cannot see out of it.

That said, the fortress of metal in the 200 is nice if a rollover happens...

I am also going to be very interested to see how MPGs are effected when weight and especially drag is added to this vehicle. I suspect it will be great stock and crap when it gets modded. That said, maybe ARB will have some sort of aerodynamic bumper addition. Ford got in trouble with their turbo engines because no one could really hit the claimed MPGs. Once modded, I believe the 250 will be the same. It wouldn't surprise me to see fuel mileage drop by 30-50% with weight and drag. We will see.

The primary reason I went to Cruiser Fest was to sit in one to answer that question. But us mere mortals were not allowed. Maybe Kurt or Christo could answer. Standing there it looked like visibility would be on par with previous models. With maybe the flat hood being the only downside.

My dad had a Prius and could never hit what they said it would..... Most others i know with hybrids have the same problem. All stock, no mods etc...

I agree and that is stock.

I was able to do it with the Prius that I had, but not driving anything close to normal. Accelerating and braking required a lot of focus to hyper mile. Oddly, I felt that I was a much less safe driver when I was driving this way. I was so slow to accelerate compared to other drivers and I would avoid using the brakes to favor the regenerative braking. No bueno. I ultimately gave up hyper mileing and accepted 45 MPG :D

My neighbor has a hybrid F150....My diesel 2500 HD gets better fuel economy than his hybrid F150. And might weigh less as well.

used my friends hybrid f150 to get my Chevelle from Texas. Towing an empty trailer we got like 17 i think. On the way home i think it went down to 14ish..... it's MPG's are laughable for sure! The coolest thing about that truck is the 240V 30amp outlet in the bed!

We just bought a 2023 Honda CR-V Sport Hybrid. We’ve put about 3000 miles on it around town (no road trips yet). It’s claimed EPA mpg numbers are 40/36 city to hwy respectively. According to the onboard computer we’re typically seeing 40-42 mpgs. I’m pretty stoked about it being so close to the advertised numbers. Granted, it’s my wife’s car, and so I haven’t done any hand calculations yet.
That being the case, if it’s lying to me, ignorance is bliss 😂.

My stepdad has hit 25mpg for a full tank in his 5th gen 4runner (lifted, roof rack, sliders, but stock michellins). He does a lot of cruising around Arizona, Utah and Western Colorado, so probably a tailwind, long downhill stretch, or something along those lines :ROFLMAO: Still pretty envy-inducing.

Photos from an out of market launch. I did not recognize the language. Posting for the retro stripes.

I think I want that graphic to be bigger so it pops more. Maybe have a jog in the design across the two doors so it's visually more striking.
