Going to add this, dealer should get a baseball bat to the knees for this one. Can't believe people pay this crap. Wonder if it has a matching spare, probably not for that money.

Carlsbad is a very affluent place. Somebody will pay it.

Stevenson Lexus in Frederick called me today to let me know they have a GX 550 overtrail enroute. It is white and I am waiting for an earth or Nori green one.

Just saw my first one in person at Groove today picking up parts.

On a side note Groove is so good to us. Picking up crank position sensor and UBJs today for the Sequoia, almost forgot the discount and price was 450. Had card in the reader and remembered and price dropped to 250.

First Edition?

Yeah Jeff, I think the first edition 250s come with the roof rack and “sliders”.

Edit: I’m interested to see what the window sticker says for pricing.

Correct. I don’t believe that the 1958 is offered in the trail dust paint color.
I tried to find it on the Groove Toyota website but I couldn’t find that one. It shows 28 new Land Cruisers available but all the pictures are just a stock photo.
Most of the 28 are either in transit or sale pending with a delivery date of early July.

I hope this first year sells well and the Toyota dealerships will have several 2025s on hand for test drives. Seems difficult to get a test drive now without having a deposit down on one.

Yeah I don't think it would be on the website. Sales guy was asking if I was the buyer 😂. I guess buyer was picking it up today.

Got a call from my sales guy in Fort Collins they have a white 1958 they are letting people on the list check out. I went and gave it a good once over and I have to admit I don't hate the cloth seats. They appear to be made from very durable fabric. He said They are going to have Slee build it out for the Mountain West expo. They also had a customer back out of a Meteor shower first edition that they have on the lot that he offered to me for 5K over list. Just not ready to drop 80K on one. He told me probably late June for the Land Cruiser in my spec and color.

This is a pretty good deep dive into the 250 LC. It answers many questions people might have about the suspension and stock articulation. It also shows the difference the sway bar disconnect makes. It was more than I was expecting. I set the start of the video to be the RTI test. The suspension overview is before the test.

The one at Groove Toyota stickered for just over $ 77k. I saw it last week as well.

It was already sold. Not sure what it actually sold for.

While I was picking up parts at Stevinson West on Saturday, I got to meet the saleslady I have been talking on the phone with. The meteor shower 1958 that I want is supposed to be delivered June 9. While it is already spoken for, I am next in line in case the buyer backs out. I asked her what the pipeline looks like and she said it was out of her control, basically Toyota NA is allocating as available, so she didn't know when they would get what beyond the ones already allocated.
