Replaced the washer diverter valve last night. Now I can wash just the windshield or the back window.

I'm a bit late with the update, but I got the new 100 back from Slee last Friday night - about a week earlier than expected. Not going to complain about that!

Brand new suspension with Slee shocks (replaced the old OME 2.5" lift kit), sliders, skid plates, ARB air locker in the front (stock e-locker in the rear), Safari snorkel, ComeUp winch, and an ARB drawer system in the back. They also replaced both drivelines and u-joints, and also re-centered the steering rack, which is apparently damn near new but not well-installed.

Before taking it to Slee, I mounted my RTT on the Rhino Rack platform, and also pulled the trigger on a new Rhino Rack Batwing awning, courtesy of @nakman. The Batwing is sick...incredibly easy to set up and tear down.

The Slee shocks are AMAZING. I had no idea what I was missing. Super comfortable - can't wait to see how they perform off-road. I'm still missing the trim on the right side of the drawers (I have one of those super weird 100s that doesn't have rear AC.), but Slee has them ordered and they'll hopefully be in sometime soon.

After the Slee trip, I figured I'd be pretty much done from a mod perspective. Then I noticed that empty spot on the 2nd battery tray next to the air compressor, and I started thinking, "hey, why not do a dual battery system?", which then lead to, "maybe I should run another 6ga line to the rear for an inverter and some USB charging ports"...

...it just never ends, and I'm perfectly okay with that.

Dude, you are pro level now, nice looking setup! That spot on the right would be great for foldable camping chairs, you might think about the cover there. That's also probably your best place to wire an inverter.

@RayRay27 Ray that is a really cool mod, so do you have a switch that controls it? And it is front only, then combined? or back only also?

:ROFLMAO:

Right now I am making the assumption that you're not being facetious, but the original diverter was broken and when I went to clean the windshield it would spray both the front and the rear windows at the same time. The spray was really weak too. Now it sprays just the front window with some serious pressure.

Maybe Tim forgot that 80s come factory equipped with separate switches for FR/RR window washers so no mods required? :homer:

How much was that diverter valve? I need one.

I've been asked to quarantine myself since March 13th..
I changed the wife's transmission fluid, changed my cars oil, spark plugs, fixed an impossible to reach steering leak.

Today I finished the shift kit on the 80 . Next is to install the new transfer case/rear main seal/ transmission, skid plate and rear control arms. I'm waiting to do this at work on the lift. I wish my driveway was not on such a steep angle, I'd do it here.

When I had an 80 both squirters would go at the same time... I guess I just assumed that's how it was? Didn't realize it was broken...

I think I paid 35 or 40 bucks for an OEM one.

Gotta have some fun in trying times like these! I installed some RGB "rock lights." It's my guilty pleasure. Having too much fun tonight driving around my neighborhood.

They'll do all sorts of colors and also just white. It has a Bluetooth app to control it. They also gradient, strobe, and flash. You can make custom themes, set to music, etc. I got this 8-pod kit: https://amzn.to/2WIjZIt

Just don’t buy the LED halo headlight kits from Amazon, my Grandson bought one for his j&@p and they only lasted maybe 6 months.

My buddy makes a little under hood light kit for 4Runners and now after measuring my truck will offer them for 100 series. He'll also have a universal version.

It uses a little pressure switch to turn the light off when the hood is closed and it turns on when the hood opens. Super slick and incredibly bright! There is also a manual override switch to turn the light off manually if you want to leave the hood open for a long period of time. I actually bought 2 and I'm putting the other one inside my rear hatch.

Available now via email: scarab.offroad.technologies@gmail.com

I installed my second light kit in the rear hatch using a cool little magnetic switch (https://amzn.to/39kP1c7) So far I'm loving it.

I haven't done much.
Still slowly working on getting the motor pulled from the LX.
Anyone know where I can take used coolant?

Been working from "home" in Pueblo on 40 acres of social distancing all week.

Made a second battery tray/compressor bracket for the Hundy. I'm not the most efficient fabricator and this took me way longer than it probably should have. My method is stare at it for a bit, cut up some metal, tack it together, test fit, cuss, stare at it some more, drink a beer or two while continuing to stare at it, make some more test cuts/welds, then repeat the process until I have something that works. I probably should have just bought the bracket from @sleeoffroad but I have nothing but time right now. That combined with the fact that I have plenty of scrap metal to work with and a welder that I stole from a guy up in Boulder County, I figured why not. Usually I put a dollar amount to my time because I'm usually so busy. If this was the case now, this would have cost me about $3,728.92. (labor, beer, frustration, etc.)

I think it came out ok. It's ugly but sturdy....I hope.

I still need to plumb the compressor to the manifold and figure out the tie down for the battery but you get the idea.
