Do they fit well? I have $7 cheap-o Dickies I got at Wal-Mart as place holders that are terrible so was hoping for 1st hand feedback on those Carhartts. I never felt the need to run seat covers but the material on my Taco seats just likes to get nasty from dirt and sweat after MTB rides so covers are a lot easier than trying to keep them clean.

I know the fit amazingly well in my friends F250. That’s all I got.

I’ve got a set from my f250 that fit 80 seats pretty well, they are in great shape and will sell for cheap! I paid a lot for them.... they aren’t cheap! (Look them up)

They fit pretty well. They are custom cut for the seat, so that helps a lot. I’ll be at the meeting tonight. If you are there, come take a look.

Being unemployed, I figured it was about time to figure out why my front ARB locker was blowing 90wt all over my hood...why my front wheel bearings keep coming loose....AND why my front brakes were not working well, not wearing evenly. I also needed to fix a trail repair where my front diff gasket blew the top portion out. The temp fix lasted several years and still wasn’t leaking, but....while yer in there!

After pulling everything apart and getting the front diff out, it was painfully obvious what the first problem was...the copper line had been pushed into the ring gear upon installation and it wore a hole in the copper line. THANK YOU JACKSON for helping me get this replaced and straightened out. Here is how much of the gasket got blown out...hard to believe shoving FIPG in there lasted three years!

And this is the copper line damage and Jackson helping replace the air inlet and checking the diff setup.

The brake issue turned out to be a bent and corroded pin that was keeping my pads from moving. And the wheel bearings were coming loose because my spindles were grooved. So...why not replace both the spindles and the calipers with brand new and get things buttoned up correctly?! If this doesn’t fix it nothing will. Im actually not that excited about the new spindles with the needle bearings, but it’s all that was available. I may replace the needles with bushings in a later rebuild down the road? Anyway...it’s all wrapped up and it Seems like some of my front end “looseness” and pulling is solved. Yippe! Time for a desert trip!

SWEET! I dig the 3D printed part. Also the radio is a good one.

How'd you draw up the part? where'd you print it?

Thanks! I used Solidworks to design it and printed it on my own 3D printer. I know absolutely nothing about CBs so I'm glad you approve!

I added some anti-slip grip tape to my Slee sliders. The sliders do have a grip surface on them, but the outer tube perimeter gets slicker than snot when wet, and even worse with ice. I have almost slipped off several times and my mother in law almost took a helluva spill so I decided to do something about it.

I used this 2" outdoor grip tape: https://amzn.to/38s0Qxu

Simply cleaned up the tubes with alcohol and then put on a length of tape:

Much better!

Steep out wide when wearing shorts. I did this to some sliders a long time ago and scratched my legs all to hell. Peeled it off not long after.

Well, we still have a couple months before shorts and I'm tired of slipping on it. I have 60' of the tape so I can do this for many years to come!

I used to work at Groove Toyota and some of the Tundras and Tacomas came stock with sliders/steps that were covered in an extremely abrasive powder coating, darn near ripped all the skin off your legs if you brushed up against them. Terrible choice Toyota!

I'm already cognizant of not rubbing calves or legs against them so I don't get mud or dirt or whatever on my pants and all my family is either short or old so they use it as a step anyway. So far this morning I am loving it.

I have Rhino lining on my sliders. I really like the liner, but it isn't a good ultimate choice because I actually use them as sliders. I have some rust spots to deal with.

Went to the world headquarters for Gamiviti to install the new factory rack bracket with an awning. GREAT engineering, Tim!

it’s going to be perfect for those who still have the factory rack and want to still attach “stuff”. It’ll even accept a quick-fist flushly- if that’s a word. Super cool!
