Dyno day.
I’m pretty happy with the numbers. 242whp, and 260lbsft of torque.
Base was 206 and 230.
He’s guessing I’m around 330 to 340 engine hp.

I am lying on the ground in a high school parking lot swapping a new radiator into Connor's 4runner. At least it didn't blow while we were in Moab a few weeks ago! But dang, I have SO much to do before I leave for Moab again on Sunday... Didn't plan for this little extra job.

I broke LongCruiser … again.
Barely made it home.
Hope the transmission is not damaged.
I hope it’s a cooler line that blew.
Second best is that it’s the radiator transmission tank. I could even bypass that temporarily.

Arghhhhhhh

I’d need a miracle tomorrow to still be able to run it out to Moab Thursday. And if I don’t move it by Thursday I’ll surely get two tickets - street sweeping and expired registration.

But, like @timmbuck2 said, could have happened in a worse spot. The smoke show started at 11:45 pm on I25 near 58th as I was driving home from working on it in Erie.

*SIGH*

The rising sun garage is available and would fit the Longcruiser if you need a place closer to home to stash it or work on it...I would offer to help figure out the issue but I would be pretty useless. :homer::drink:

One battery box done. The next will happen after Cruise Moab.
Looking forward to seeing your solution as I’ve wanted to replace my OEM box for a long time.
Here is the solution @MoFunna4l2unna came up with for the passenger side battery box. We will mirror it for the driver side, after Cruise Moab.
He used the factory mounting holes. The discolored smaller hole is the long leg and we used your typical Toyota m8 bolt for that. Since the box is very tight on the battery we counter sunk the two Phillips head screws. It’s solid!
Going to paint it and finish the wiring up tomorrow.

Two were stubborn. Mr. Sawzall fixed that problem quickly.

What is everyone doing for rack removal when the internal nuts break? Drill out the holes for a nutsert?
