Over the weekend reinstalled the transmission, transfer case, exhaust, and a bunch more. Wrapped the cats with 100’ of wire rope as a theft deterrent. Drove it home tonight for the first time in 13 months. No leaks yet!

Know that hill southbound on Sheridan by 50th? I accelerated up it. 😎

Not installed yet, but these came in yesterday. Ruffstuff battery boxes. Now I just need to figure out how to securely mount them.

Looking forward to seeing your solution as I’ve wanted to replace my OEM box for a long time.

Part 2, or 10 of the undercarriage painting, is now complete. I hit the previously hard-to-get spots now that the fuel tank and transmission box were removed. Man, lifting the thing is a blessing, I did most of the work at the home garage, crawling under it like a schmuck. It went so much quicker this way. BRB, I'm selling the house to find one with a car lift in the garage.

In the meantime, I am pleased with the outcome. It's (a dirt) road, not show-worthy when it's complete.

Should be running by next weekend! 🤞
Oh, and torque to yield bolts suck. Not really, but they sure tier you out when you have to do 15 head bolts per side, 3 times each! First pass 22lbs. Second pass. 90 degrees. 3rd pass, 90 more degrees, except the top 5 smaller bolts. They go 50 degrees on the 3rd pass.

The Denso A/C condenser is a mythical, non-existent part; this isn't it. Found an aftermarket part; let's see if it does the trick. I keep thinking, is this it? Is this the moment where I finally have to admit defeat? Not today, satan. Well, let's see if this does the trick.

At discount getting the new tires installed. Had a good laugh watching a tech spend 5 minutes trying to mount a 16" tire on a 17" rim.

He saw me through the window and we had a good laugh.

Surprised you didn’t get arp head bolts since they’re reusable

At least you don't have an older Dodge that had reverse lug threads on one side of the vehicle. A friend had lug bolts stripped off at a Discount before it was realized Dodge was weird. This was on an old Dart years ago.
