Switch Pros are expensive (600 bucks)! I picked this Auxbeam switch panel for 133 dollars from Amazon. The panel and the bottom of the fuse panel are metal and seem very well constructed. Going to start installing this and my KC lights Sunday.

Had no idea. I was just looking for a cheaper alternative to the switch pro
There's a fair amount in the 3rd gen crowd who really like the auxbeam stuff, sounds like really good bang for the buck if you've got a bunch of doodads to control.

Well after dealing with the after effects of suspension changes that have me 1.5" of rake I finally got around to aligning my headlamps tonight. My low beams were basically a joke before and my high beams threw like low beams. Now everything is great and I feel like I can actually see wildlife before they become a hood ornament. Still debating on doing a relay harness so I can throw higher wattage bulbs in as they still aren't as bright as most modern vehicles. Regardless always nice when you make your rig safer. Thinking backup (and possibly forward facing) camera is the next order of business. Sliders are also high on the priority list.

KC Daylighters mounted and hooked up to the switch panel i picked up. Most of the rock lights are hooked up as well. Rock lights need to be mounted and wiring cleaned up still.

LongCruiser has an eight circuit sPOD BantamX.
I am impressed with quality, function, and features.
Maybe we can do a side-by-side comparison at a future RS meeting or Cruise Moab. (light party!)
1) you can buy at least 5 AuxBeams for the price of one BaantamX

Changed fluids today. Put Mobile1 high milage and Liquimoly Ceratec in the engine and MT-90 in the manual transmission. What a difference, especially with the transmission. Notchy shifting, especially in first and reverse is gone and stick feedback is majorly reduced. Engine feels smoother too especially at idle and 70mph. Definitely looking forward to seeing how much my milage improves which has been reported with almost everyone using Ceratec on 3rd gens. Also installed a valvomax which should hopefully make oil changes much easier without having to take off my engine skid.

Cleaned the switches and ultimately swapped out a rubber 'hat' on the HVAC switches in my '99 LX 470. After removing all the hats and cleaning or replacing them, the climate controls work as they should. Ordered switches from overstock.com.

If the switch doesn't work after you clean it, it's because the conductive carbon on the rubber hat is worn off, and thus the hat needs to be replaced. If you have a dental explorer or scaler, it goes quickly.
