I installed a 30mm whiteline sway bar along w/ Land Cruiser Phil’s sway bar end links. Also installed my dorkel to be overland AF! Seemed like the easiest way to get my intake temps down to a much cooler temp than 150 degrees! @DomOfTheDead came over and we installed his snorkel too. No pics of his though. 😕
Sway bar end links need to be adjusted.

Got rid of the last bit of chrome by painting my grill super white. (Truck is dirty it's clean). I didnt clear coat because everyone said it would turn yellow. New headlights, light bar and fog lights installed too.

I need to figure out how to mount the old fog lights as axillary. These Diode Dynamics are super bright. Too blinding in white out blizzard conditions. Photo is with just the fog lights on. Can literally drive by just them.

I have been really happy with Tim at 303 Shock Services. He does full rebuilds, but he has been helping me source parts for my Icon shocks to rebuild myself. He is very knowledgeable about King, Radflo, ADS, Icon and Fox. He also has a good stock of parts on hand. I needed a few Com10t, the bushing stems, heim spacers and a few seal rebuild kits. He has all of these parts on hand to sell.

I have a nitrogen fill kit that I am happy to let people use for the recharge.

I am going to be doing a rebuild on my shocks soon. I have been swapping out a leaking front drive shaft recently.

Are you sending them back to King? What’s the turnaround?
Got a local guy in Denver doing them. I hope to get them back this week.

I had them rebuild my 3rd gen 4runner coilovers a few years ago. Same day turn around, but that was when he was in his garage and not super busy.

Pulled the front diff out of the 100 yesterday to confirm my suspicions after isolating it on a trip,

Water intrusion? What caused this?
Definitely wasn't water. Toyota or I caused this (my 3rd rbld / 2nd 4.3 R&P broken on this diff).
Last time for me was 2017, it was re-built with best possible parts and builder at that time. I was watching fluid level / changing often through last summer at least and it was perfect like honey each time. Lately however I'd developed something of a rumble in the drivetrain since a LONG hwy trip and a few trail rides and hoped it was my beat up rear driveline.
Anyway, last week the diff popped and ground while I was trying to drive out of a mud problem under a hard traction pull. I was surprised it let go when it did so suspect it already had either damaged teeth or low preload from hard livin'.

Generally I say 100's just do this sometimes. I always add that mines heavy and used mostly for offroad trips and I do push it hard / and other folks seem to get away without trouble.

I've lost track of how many 100 front diffs I've helped disconnect so folks could keep driving but its about 10:1 vs CVs (which is a more common fuse/failure point on this type of suspension design like the 4-tacos).

...this is just like my opinion and experience though man.

PS: Love my 100!

Wow that is crazy. I have popped CVs, but I have never popped my diff. I have an ARB airlocker. I wonder if this made the difference.

Time to make that 100 a 105 w/ a Dimond Axle w/ a 9.5" diff. (y)😁

I also have an ARB in there... 1st rebuild was to add the ARB, 2nd when the OE gears broke, now 3rd for gears again.

I also have the Nitro 4.88 in my truck. When running 34-35" tires they are great. They only downside is the higher RPMs at highway speeds. My speedo is still about 5% high with 35" tires. I don't know what makes the bigger difference, the gearing or the super charger. I wonder if the Nitro gears are stronger than the Toyota gears.
