Removed TCB and cleaned it as thorough as I could. Filthy, then replaced it before possibly tuning it. Will if I need to, hoping this will help some. LM 7
Hope I got it right as I am not in general a mechanic by no means.

So finished up today, little cool outside I noticed. Cleaned up the air intake tube (I'm sure there is a technical term for it), air filter cleaned and oiled, MAF cleaned, added BG 44k to fuel. Changed spark plugs Iridium about 60 miles ago. Reset the PCM/ECM and got Tatanka running.

What a BIG difference in responsiveness and performance, tickled pink. She is purring like a shiten kitten, but Idle rpm when warm has not changed significantly.

I found some new King 2.0 12" coilovers for the rear of my 40 on FB marketplace for a good price. Time to link it, I guess.

Simple stuff that's been on the list:

Swapped out the 2863s for the slee heavies to drop an inch of lift height in the back. Lowered the front 3/4 inch as well with torsion adjustment. Just right now.

I had repacked my wheel bearings a thousand miles ago so I checked the axle flange c clip gap and found one had settled a bit after the grease moved so I put a wider clip in.

Put on new axle caps. The old ones had been mangled by a shop and let a little water in during water crossings this year which is why I had to pack the bearings again so early. I put a little marine grease on the inside of them to hopefully keep things sealed.

Put brake caliper bleeder caps on!

Greased rear axle and greased my upper control arms.

Realized I need new shocks as these tough dog ones are still losing oil.

I added beef to the rear sway bar, only to decide I needed the beefy rear sway bar. It’s shipping already.
Bought the LCPhil sway bar link kit and wits end swap bar clamps. The new 30mm whiteline sway bar is in route to the house.

Ahhh well ya know….yeah
What has your oil pressure been like? Have you noticed any knocking?

That kind of looks like a bearing has spun. If so, you'll see a drop/fluctuation in oil pressure and/or a knocking sound. Either way, you're due for a rebuild or swap. Sorry man. 😢

I’m sure this is just glitter from the strippers that gleefully spin around the valve stems. They get mad because the oil washes off the glitter and do spiteful things.

Just the factory gauge 1/2-3/4. I’ve had a small noise I couldn’t pin point it fluctuated and with a tiny bit of throttle or turning the wheel a bit it went away while checking under the hood. If it sat for a week it would knock on start up a little bit louder for a second until it got oil pressure.
Then I had a stuck solo in some drifts for 2 days that I worked it hard bashing through some of it, idled the rest of the time through the night staying warm, warming up from shoveling and pretty hard working it while the buggies winched and pulled me through. Oil was 3qts. low. The knock is loud af now just for a couple seconds on almost every start then it’s gone but throttle modulation you can hear it tick a few times. Man the knock on start up sounds so bad up top from cyl 3-4. Like the pistons hitting the head. Sad day.
I was pretty effin scared and wasn’t thinking about oil level.
I suspect it’s been patched together from the po but I surely didn’t do it any favors.
