Triple locked, "low" milage 80 in Denver for a decent price.

That looks like a good deal, I'm super tempted to go take a look!

I never know why people put "female driven" in a listing - regardless of gender everybody treats cars the same. When I see that in a listing like this, my first instinct is to think this was a dad who got this car for their kid knowing it was reliable, safe, and big.

My dad got my older sister an 87 4Runner because he knew she could take it away to college and not kill it. Seems like anytime she called home was to report having assassinated another mailbox or mirror of a parked car. He sold it for what he paid for it, but would have hated to be the recipient of that vehicle.

That's an early front end. It's either not a 1996 model or the frontend was swapped/replaced.

I couldn't give my fj55 away back in 2001......
Around that same time frame, maybe a little earlier, I was stationed in Georgia but dating a girl back home in Arkansas whose dad tried to sell me his pig that was just about perfect aside from being in primer. It was all original and ran great and he only wanted $800 for it. I almost bought it but my dad talked me out of it. He said, "there's no way you're going to make it back to Georgia in that thing and you sure as hell aren't leaving it here." He obviously didn't know Land Cruisers.

Those pig stories are killing me

Wish we could go back to those days. I just hope I can get my 100 and 200 before prices become too stupid. And then I'll be done. Promise.

Wasn't someone looking for '77 fj40 smog equipment recently? Subzali maybe?

God dammit, I have notifications set up with U Pull & Pay and never knew that was there - never got a notification! Says it’s been there 33 days which means it’s picked clean by now 🤬

Who wants a snow cat? Or 3?

I was looking at these. Supposedly ex-USAF and have thorough maintenance logs apparently. But $18k for a utility bed snow cat or $26k for a crew cab. Yeah, I dunno. They're cool, very cool.

USAF out of the Dakota's too - probably a ballistic defense unit? Was more common ten years ago when they were decommissioning sites to see absolute time capsule k series Chevys and stuff show up at auctions with under 5k original miles. So cool.

Exactly where is it & how do you contact them? If it is still intact, I could totally use a whole new body for my fj62. I think I’d be money ahead in the long run

I went this morning. I needed a front driver’s quarter, but unfortunately whoever pulled the engine bonked it into where the headlight bucket attaches and bent the whole thing out by several inches. I would never be able to make it sit just right. I grabbed a couple small things I could use, but geez - it’s been pretty well stripped.
