not all of these guys are scammers, but this guy is a liar, so I'd stay away from him. Nobody with a grey market diesel in California thinks that it just takes a quick inspection with CHP to title in Cali. The fact that it is registered in Alaska will tell you he knows it isn't that easy. He's lying to try & help sell to people that don't know better locally.

Plus the 2LTE engine is one of the worst engines Toyota ever made. It can be durable if you lay off the throttle, or add a bunch of aftermarket cooling. But if not, they are known to crack heads all over the place. It is also illegal to swap to a non USA licensed engine in this vehicle. So when the head cracks, you either have to put a new 2LTE into it, a 350 swap, or a US diesel engine. Not a crisis there, but certainly sort of kills the idea of a Toyota diesel cruiser.
