What are you all doing to get prepared for the next 6-8 weeks? We bought extra food. A friend of mine said he bought extra ammo.

Not sure what all those people who have tons of TP are going to do when they get hungry. Hopefully the grocery store food supply chain will still be functional.

I picked up a some grease yesterday, have had an axle service kit on the shelf for 5 years now. So figure if we get locked down, I'm gonna finally do some front axle maintenance to the 40. I have enough oil & filters on hand for a couple vehicles also.

And we've been slowly remodeling our kitchen, so will likely work on that some, and also painting our house interior. I sure hope it doesn't snow the whole time, would be nice to get some yard work done.

Oh yeah, and if I actually get sick I'm going to finish watching Narcos... got through season 1 and now they're driving 70 and 80 series around, lots of 60/62's in the first season. So looking forward to seeing more of that, I like the 80 with the barn doors even though I still prefer sitting on a tailgate. I wonder where they got all those rigs to film that series, anyone know? They all seem pretty period correct to me, aside from the obvious newer 80 series in a sub-93 world.

I'm hoarding alcohol (the good stuff, not isopropyl) and marijuana. If I go down, I'm going down happy.

I also lucked out and bought a few thousand rounds of .45ACP and 9MM ammo on a whim last year, just to ensure the alcohol and marijuana is protected (my kids can fend for themselves).

I already have been keeping about a month's supply of storable food and some water and eat it for camping or whatever to rotate in fresh stuff. Had a bunch of N95 masks for painting but decided to grab a few more packs a month ago along with a bunch of disposable goggles. The TP thing is ridiculous. I cannot understand it no matter how I try. I understand the panic and running to the store and being unreasonable...but why TP. Of all the things to hoard TP doesn't even break the top 20. Oh and ammo? Don't worry about that :)

I am very lucky to have an awesome, flexible job and have been taking advantage of the self isolation lifestyle and great weather and have got a ton of stuff done on the truck.

I have plenty of Ammo . . . so if your sick Get Off My Lawn :)

I can see food and also don't get the TP. I would fill up with fuel in all the vehicles you own and have a couple weeks worth of food

With running water, not sure why the need for bottled water. There is always the 50 gallons in the hot water tank if the water shuts off

I always heard Alcohol and Ammo would be the new currency if TSHF....Apparently, you can add TP to that list...

If you want to do a halfway decent job preparing for anything, particularly something truly horrible, be prepared for having conviction under the appropriate circumstances. The wearwithal to be a “first mover,” to do something important, compelled only by your own strong evidence, before anyone else has... Before it’s cool, normal, socially acceptable or agreeable in the eyes of people who matter to you. Let alone before it becomes common sense...
In some situations, this could mean the difference between life and death, in many others, it could make you money.

I have a Wits' End Turbo to install if I need entertainment.

Otherwise we basically just stocked our house as we normally do maybe a little more going into spring break as I don't want to have to goto town for a few days. I'm on a well so if I have power I have water. If not the creek is 100 yards down hill.
