I right-clicked on the big photo and selected "Copy Image Location"...then went "Post Reply", selected "Insert Image" and put the Picasa address in the box.
I gunned for Tom R. on Behind the Rocks Thursday. We only had an 80 and two FJ’s. Everyone had built rigs and was experienced so everything went well. We were behind a group of jeeps so we even had time to play on some optional obstacles. Only Tom went down Nose Dive and we all turned around before White Knuckle. Which as you can see from the picture at the end is quite large now. Tom put his rig on his side going up upchuck but he just drove out of it. I got stuck in an optional obstacle and had to have someone winch me out. Note to self have your winch controller ready before you take the obstacle. I was unable to open my rear door to get to it due to the rock on the side. We hit the pavement at 4pm which was a lot earlier that a lot of folks that day so that was good.
More good times were had by all again last night. Ige was trying to round up money to go into town to get a Rising Sun tattoo. Not sure if she made it or not.
I have some great video of our Hell's Revenge run also. I was able to show it to everyone last night as well as view a bunch of peoples pictures. That was fun.
Here are a few more pictures since there's no need to skimp.
That is awsome gang! I can't believe how much has changed since i was last there. Nose Dive never looked like that when I went down many moons ago. Moab is one of the many reasons i moved here. I am going bald here looking at the PICs. Just want get over there and wheel. aaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe next year if i can get a toy i can use. mmmmmm
Be safe
Here are two more. We did have someone flip over coming down the last obstacle on the rim. My camera was broken at that point though because I fell on it so no pics of that. I'm running the spike today and my axle isn't leaking any more since I replaced the inner axle seal so I should be set. But rain in the forecast today.
I drove the '40 both directions and averaged 65 MPH on the way home.
There was a VERY annoying storm that made Vail pass and coming into Lakewood interesting. A found the road sign stating: "Use Cation; thick fog next 16 miles; animals on road," pretty disturbing especially since I was wiping the window with a clean shop towel and "thankful" every time the wipers worked.
