I beg to differ 😝 verbal harassment and doubting my car audio capabilities are not forms of payment.
EdIt: just kidding, we are stoked to getting this truck in the trail, Brandi is super supportive and appreciative of all the knuckle busting

I dunno if you're a Simpsons fan but all I meant was this was starting to feel a little like when Homer gets Marge a bowling ball as a birthday gift...

Not all. I just don't like working on the truck. 😆 I just want to drive it. Probably will bite me in the butt later. Thankfully, my Pitt crew is amazing, though ornery. I will need to check in on his payment plan. 😆😆😆

Installed this JVC deck courtesy of @RayRay27, some Kyuss sounds good but sadly, nothing out of the factory sub. Need to troubleshoot.

and now we are currently battling with obtaining the title at this point so it sits, waiting.

I like solving title problems if you need any direction on what to do. I think I actually walked @Cruisertrash through the process when he was looking at buying this exact 80.

Yep, we chatted on the phone about the process … and it was when this exact 80 was on Marketplace. @Yarn Cruiser Ive never done it but after talking with Hans … he knows his stuff.

I will need help. The paperwork has been kicking my ass. It’s probably my natural resistance to authority. 😂 so any help is very very appreciated! I am putting a pin in this until November. We are getting married on the 24th and it’s quickly consuming all my energy and effort. It’s one less thing to worry about until then.

As we still work at title acquisition, some fuel delivery issues arose. We decided to replace the fuel pump and found a rusty mess

seems like this was probably the source for the gas gauge not functioning. Strainer bag was completely solid with build up.

Did you get in that tank and clean it out? I'm no help on which is the correct sending unit/ pump.

the sender is cleaning up nicely some careful work in a blast cabinet but attempting to clean the tank looked daunting. For the first time in my life, I am more willing to drop the tank than avoid it😅😅 too many GM fuel pump failures in my history than one would prefer.

EDIT: I know that the wiring was spliced for the 12v connection but the pump itself fits the sender properly.

When I cleaned my Fuel tank and replaced the pump a few years ago, found some small (4) Magnets at the bottom at/around pickup line, good idea IMO. (a Marco thing). There were some very, very small metal attached to it as well. Something to consider
No problem with Fuel gauge then, until a recent service with new Speedhut gauges installed. Paid for that x2 with no resolve.
