Swapped out old dry rotted stock tires for 33s. These are place holders until I get my Kendas from @Inukshuk mounted on her wheels.

This was my first ever tire change and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I also used all the fun shop tools that make it easy breezy. I really enjoyed this approach for learning and just getting a feel for the process. We will be practicing with the bottle jack and other hand tools before I need to do it on trail so it will be familiar.

Pictured is @DomOfTheDead new Christmas present the Trac Tire Jack! That thing is awesome. I would have struggled mounting the tire without it's help.

Trac Tire Jack is very cool. Great idea. I usually sit on the ground and use my legs on each side of the tire to lift but I might even get one of those!

Same. Been doing it that way since my dad showed me how.

Been taking my tires off/on at ground level, never an issue. My bigger concerns would be using the spare from the tire Carrier without help. 🥵🙏

Thanks to @MonPetiteShoe Knitty Gritty has a bumper! Eventually we will replace this one so we can mount my winch. She looks so much cooler now! Progress has been slower than we would have liked, things are looking better and we hope to have her ready for the 80s only run. I can't wait to get her out on trail.

Front axle outer teardown finished and started reassembly this weekend. Went smooth despite the weather. I got it built back up to the knuckles before calling it good for the weekend. Everything was pretty nasty, I scraped off a thick layer of scuzz before giving parts the wire brush and soapy bucket treatment.
