Turkey Track is an interesting place. The pictures of the road don’t do it justice, but the they were rotted and difficult, was off camber several times, at one point, I was tilted way too much for comfort, and I finally got to test out 4L, climbs like a mule! Destination reached, had plenty of fun.

That rust shield is a cool product. I ordered a few bottles.

All work and no trails make Will something something something. Anyway, I ordered a fresh set of seatbelts, including the three-point restraints for the rear. Now to figure out the install.

Check my build thread on Mud. Fronts are easy. I just installed one side in the rear, next side coming this weekend. I have a bracket that might help with that depending on how exactly you want things to look when you're done.

Tow rope, I’m not sure about this yet. I kinda like the aesthetics but I’m still unsure if I like the placement.

What is that thing rated for? Why not store it inside?

You know that deal that's too good to be true, but you end up paying for it because you hate your wallet, you expel all logic to the side? Yeah, that deal turned out to be too good, and it was very true. Brand new rear bumper for $300. Here's to finding the front for a similar price.

I'm just going to work through the cosmetic stuff for now. The next milestone is to drop it off at the body shop. Until then, odds and ends, less driving, working up the energy to strip out the interior in the coming weeks/months. Meanwhile, I was bored, so I took this apart to clean and restore it as best I could. I need to figure out the wiring harness situation at some point. The green LED makes it pop.

I appreciate whoever layered the polyurethane to dampen the sound, but it didn’t do much. Pivoting to heat gun to remove, then grind and sand to buff it out. I’m high AF.

Eastwood metal pre-paint prep is solid. Cleans off the residue, alright. Next up, remove bench, seats, carpet, trims, keep going, Will. My vision will eventually become a reality.

Like, subscribe, smash the button, keep encouraging me. That’s it for today.
