Then the last thing was my favorite.

This guy on mud i think its racer65 has a thread called unobtanium..
Anyway he sells the oem fog lights, the switch, and bumper brackets as a kit.

It was spendy but I called it my 40th birthday present to justify it.

Coolerman makes a harness with the oem style connecters etc that i am ordering.

But I went ahead and mounted up the lights cause I have coveted them ever since seeing them on Wes's 40 at the rally a few years ago...then seeing Mikes stash of them..then kind of giving up on it for a while till that racer65 guy posted up on mud he can get them all at a fairly reasonable price...
anyways they are cool and really old school and high quality.. am looking forward to making them work.

OEM flippin fog lights??? You gotta be kidding me? Too cool! I remember putting aftermarket fog lights (in approximately the same places on the bumper) on my 76 back around 1983. They rock in heavy snowstorms, especially in that location (instead of up higher like a lot of people put them).

Rear jump seat straps were toast.

Had these for a while put them on today. Nice improvement.

Your front seat belts look much better than mine, but if you should find a source for those, please post up. Mine are really to the point of no longer safe. I called a place to see if they would just stitch up new webbing on the old mechs, and they said no. :(
I'm not interested in a CCoT band aid fix, I want to keep the old Toyota buckle.

Who sells those straps for the jump seats? I could use a set.

Hmmm. The cruisercorp set appears to be one size fits all. What's the difference in the OEM sets for model years?

use the size pull down (have to use the color pulldown first to activate size)
7.5" 1958 to 1973
8.75" 1973 to 1978
11" 1978 to 1984

Went to the archives and scanned in all the 1976 literature I had

The Toyota literature for 1976 technically used a 1975 FJ40 but the ads are correct for 1976. On the back of one of the ads, it says 10/75 leading me to believe the truck pictured is prior to October of 1975. About the only difference is the odometer sensor to the left of the engine, it is missing the carb fan specific to '76, it didn't have disc brakes, and the brake booster is the smaller cad one.
