I know it's been a hot minute since I've updated this thread, or posted at all for that matter. My job has been a time suck for the last 10 months but I'm finally trying to get back at this as well as force a better work/life balance.
I still can't get the catalyst monitor into a ready state. The truck still runs awesome, and I can still see the O2 sensors working, just can't get the damn monitor to say ready. I went on a long drive up 76 east last Saturday evening, going through the drive cycle listed above. That was with cruise control, which I was able to install. Fun fact, a cruise control switch from a 2000 Camry is the same switch as on a 1999 LC. I used CC to keep my speed constant and within the range listed, and ran the cycle 5 times, pulling over and turning everything off in between cycles. This was SO much fun on the interstate, but doing it at night, the traffic wasn't too bad.
My next step, I think, is to take it to AA Performance Exhaust and see if they can see something I'm not. I'm grasping at straws here, but I'm wondering if my v-bands aren't sealing up as good as they could be and it's allowing air to suck in and mess with the levels the sensors are seeing.
More to come...
