The bed is super solid, minimal rust, has some dents.

Spare tire is present, but carrier for under bed is missing.

The gray paint in bed might be original color? Although inside cab doesn't look painted.

Under the hood is grimey but looks pretty original. Lots of parts that look very similar to early 40 stuff.

Tiny little 3R 4cyl with a big window 2 barrel!

Check out that teq paper air filter! Was 67 still oil bath on 40's?

Elephant horns and glass bowl fuel filter.

Vacuum advance distributor.

My first car had those under dash “ac” vents.

Knowing how many bugs we usually smash along the front end and radiator, I immediately wondered how many wasps and bees will get swooped up and delivered under the dash! Might add some screens in there.:hill:

Original Denso heater and tubing is there, but I don't see any fan controls 8n dash. Tubes are pretty dry.

What a score Martin. I don't think this one could have a better caretaker than yourself. You have all of the hard to get stuff aside from the tool kit, so consider yourself very lucky. Your headliner looks better than any most any others out there and those little black door pulls also barely survive, which it seems like they are also intact. As far as the heater control, what's that red switch for in the above photo? it looks a lot like the fan switch mine had when I got it.

You also for got to mention how the center vent is for natural air and as you will find out is really good a blowing dust and junk right in your face.

That tri-tip oil cap is so cool.

Dan
Heck yeah, lots of cool teq labeled weird parts on this thing.

All 4 of the T hubcaps are present even though rough, but so is everything else.

Dan, have you seen one of these big window 2 barrel carbs before? Its not the same as an FA truck carb. I can probably rebuild it and make my own gaskets, but still curios about what else it might have been used in..

Oh yeah, that dash vent is packed full of leaves currently. Looks functional, so sprayed some penetrating oil on the bolts so I can clean it out.

Red switch looks a lot like fj40 hazard? No power yet, so we'll see what it does. 🙂

That vent is a true gift on a hot a day, that's for sure. My money is that it is fan control. To answer your question, the rt43 Coronas shared the same engine and carb as the Stout. If you ever need engine or carb rebuild parts email this guy, Carlyn Dinkler, cdinkler@bellsouth.net or check out his ebay https://www.ebay.com/usr/cdinkler?_trksid=p2047675.m3561.l2559. He is the 3r guru.

Rough, you say? Bloody hell they look awesome.

I haven't. I'd be tempted to contact Jim C and see if he has dealt with them before.

That's all for now. Going to drop fuel tank and drain fluids first.

Parts hunting will commence. ;)
