Argentine Pass! June 27

We did it! I believe there were 16 trucks and roughly 20 people total. As planned we met at the parking lot, chatted about the day, then split the group half running up Leavenworth Creek the other taking the high road up to the Santiago Mill. I was in the upper group.

Our sign is still there.. could use a refresh.

Jaeden's ride..

one of the tasks was to bring some extra fence material from Santiago down to Waldorf.

We basically repaired 3 fences... the lower Waldorf parking area, the upper Waldorf parking lot, then another fence down the road a bit, closing a spur labeled "wilcox loop" on Onx. The latter fence was also near where some camped the night before, and after.

It wasn't all work though.. .after the Waldorf fences the group split up with a few going home, some running up Argentine. But most of the group joined in a spirited jaunt up McClellan Pass.. great day to be out there, not too many other users out there only other big group was a bunch of Broncos.

After the McClellan run a few others peeled away, and the final fence repair was done by myself, Matt @Jacket, Steve @toyota.steve and Craig @Wild-FJ. That might be the hardest I've physically worked on any of these... but we worked together for a good portion of the afternoon and left that fence in good order.
