So many legitimate excuses I have not posted this yet but that's not what you came here to read.

Next Work Days: Saturday & Sunday, October 5 & 6
More of putting the V8 back together, attach a transmission, examine the parking brakes, shoot pool, have a beer, play skee ball. Maybe test fit the V8 and start to think about wiring. Sunday I should be able to install a new brake booster (with engine out!) and master cylinder. Brake lines too. Maybe ABS delete.
I start around 9AM and go till too tired.

Where: Erie, CO. Call or text for address. You can PM here or e-mail and I'll see it before the work but not nearly as fast as a text. Want to know generally where? Just a hop away from Lil' Buckaroo's Petting Zoo.
There will be a separate build thread on MUD and I'll link it here when I start it.
The Story: In case you don't follow The LongCruiser on IG, I'll catch you up: After a mere 165,000 miles hauling its own 9,000 lb empty weight, gobs of hours idling outside Studio 54 and NY Dolls, and untold passengers, the already under powered 1FZFE known for longevity except when it comes to head gaskets, , blew its headgasket. And now makes a banging noise.
@satchel (Trey) is amazingly generously hosting the world's longest broke Land Cruiser at his home shop in Erie. Neighbor @Westward Cruiser (Tyler) happened to have a 2004 Suburban around. These two kept me going when I felt overwhelmed by this project (Spoiler Alert: I still do)
When work is happening I'd really enjoy some company. If you don't wrench, the shop has a pool table, basket ball, a video game console, and a somewhat stocked bar (in LC). Heckling costs $10. All proceeds go to LC.
