Used mine to store some snow for later the other day.

One month of progress. Removed the aftermarket crap, baselined fluids, cap/rotor/wires/plugs, fixed rear hatch lock, and new OEM 2.5" lift. The original springs were sagging so much that I gained 4" in back and 2.5 in the front. Before and after shots.

Hard to tell because of the lighting but the 84 is white and the 87 in the garage is tan. Both my favorite FJ60 colors!

Replaced the second row seat belts in the 100. Dog ate the old ones. Not too bad except for wrestling with one for an hour or two after it over retracted. Finally got it back out after much cursing and googling.

Pretty happy it resembles a machine gun heat shield. I just wanted to mess around with an exhaust pipe cutter and expander and hanger pliers. I barely reduced my weight and engine back pressure. Maybe that's better engine performance and sound. Idk. Definitely better clearance behind my tire.

I built a pull-out kitchen in the cubby under my fridge this weekend.

It’s a double pull out with 34” 250lbs slides which is pretty strong, but at some point I might need to bump the first stage up to 500lbs slides. Once it’s all out it’s a tad wobbly (but not bad).

The first stage is a carpeted work surface and the second stage is a drawer that fits a stove, fuel, griddle, cutting board, pots, pans and utensils.

This morning I made 4 beautiful flapjacks on it. But then it got too hot and all the rest were black and crunchy with melted spatula mixed in. I almost felt bad giving them to the fellas at work.

The drawer worked great though! We’re excited to finally have a quick tear-down cooking set-up!

Installed a small mod to the rig last night. I figured it'd be funny to make light of the awful fuel economy of a built 100. My wife thinks it's stupid, but my daughter found it pretty funny.

Very nice and creative. I have never seen a center setup like that. Addresses a lot of issues, My backsetas are usually out and my fridge in the backseat area. I have been wanting to re-do my drawers and include a kitchen and most everyone does two drawers. I see many ways this three compartment system can suit what we do. Thanks!

I recently added a new license plate too, and ironically it suggests the same message as yours :)

I love it, Matt! Did it take the county five months to mail your plates? :ROFLMAO:

I really dig your Palladium build. I need to build out my 200.

Almost! I applied for them the first week in November, and they arrived in mid February. I was starting to think they would never show up, so it was a nice surprise. And thank you - if you ever want to come check it out and talk shop let me know!

Thanks man. The center fridge system is working really well. The original idea is that the two side cubbies hold two 10" bins on each side that carry recovery, tools and fluids can be quickly swapped to a different truck without unloading drawers. The the shelves above hold a "camp" bin and a "kitchen" bin.

After using it that way all summer we decided we could probably scale the kitchen back a little if it meant we could make a pull-out chuck wagon drawer. Something that could set-up or tear-down a lot faster than packing a bin. Attached is a picture of what the setup looked like before the drawer.

If we didn't need the second row seats then I def think your set-up would be ideal with the fridge lower down in front of the shelves. Then the center drawer could grow up to make a single level platform and hold more kitchen stuff. Either way I recommend this configuration 100% 🙌

Rear bumper build is almost done. Woohoo. I feel powder coating at Prestine Powder worked out amazing. Now the last major thing needed (after trimming the quarter panels to final length) is to paint the cut areas.

Is this the right way to mask against overspray??? Haha. Lol.

Side note, figured out how to turn a grade 8 5/8" bolt into a recovery pin by using my drill press and angle grinder. Not ideal, but works!

I added some high power LED projector lights. Need to send more light further out. Ask @DanielChase why. My LED light bar is great but doesn't send it far enough ahead of the vehicle.

I found these projector LEDs: https://amzn.to/3qFdzoK well the ones pictured are round but mine are square. I like square better anyway. They are super bright and send light much further than any of my other lights. They also have a yellow light setting that is angled down for use as a fog light.
