Now I just gotta finish up the other side, make an axle side ram mount, paint everything, and reinstall everything. Hope to get through everything except the reassembly, tonight.

Finished up the steering revamp in the little blue shop truck. Modified the custom double sided high steer arm with a 5th stud and a double shear mount for the ram, and a modified high steer arm on the other side for the 5th stud. Then painted it all and installed it and gave it a quick tape measure alignment. Now there is plenty of room for everything to fit and the 5th stud on each side should help keep the knuckles from ripping off.

How do you like the maxxis tires? Steering looks nice.

Better than any Swamper or normal mtr, not as good as any sticky. Decent trail tire. But to be clear, it doesn't see the street much if any.

New fuel pump is in and the stock motor harness has been dissected. All I needed was the temp gage wire and the stuff to the VSS and tcase.

I love those late 70’s high boys and the 6.0 will be awesome!!
I want to build one or a square body. Torn between 2wd or 4wd

I really wanted a 68-72 bump side but this one came along...runs great so I can drive it for a bit as is, its lowered and has brand new 20's and Nittos. I ordered led headlights and all new lights shocks and bushings for it to start.
I wanted a lowered 2wd so I can have a loud burnout machine that can haul my dirt bikes to aspen!
I've got the complete donor truck at work for the 6.0, figured I will make sure I have all the parts I need before I start tearing stuff apart so its not down for a year

It won’t take much to swap it. It’s going to be awesome!

I swapped out the bushings on my steering rack in my 100 series to poly. The rack only has about 30,000 miles, but the previous owner ran 35" tires with Hutchinson beadlocks (~118lbs a corner). It took out the factory rubber bushings quickly. Ultimately the bushings still looked good, but there was just a little bit too much play. This led the rack to be able to shift about 1/4" left or right from center. I have heard mixed reviews about the how long poly bushings should last, so we will see!

Do it! I'll help sand. Haha
I still have nightmares about the prep I did on my last 100 - it came out pretty well, but man, the taping and sanding was awful. I need to get some more pinstripes on my current 100 before I go down that road again. :ROFLMAO:
