Installed the Dobinsons 3" Tapered lift with 30 mm spacers up front, slee arms due to the tie rod slamming into the stock radius arms. It gave me 5 inches of lift.

The truck is very soft and rides pretty good. I haven't drove too far because my front driveshaft is not happy. I have Boulder Driveline making me a double cardan for the front using a tacoma driveshaft for parts. I also have a part time kit to install but that might not be until winter.

I believe those are the same coils I put on I love the ride and now can't stop looking at slee arms

I grabbed two Scepter cans from Gr8fulabe last weekish(?), replaced the cap seals with Viton gaskets and built a spout for them this weekend with very satisfied success. I will not be running out of fuel in moab next month!

If I had a swing out that would be the perfect setup! But since they will be stored in the cab I still need to hold the jug.
Want to help me finish my swing out? So far I have the spindle and attachment point.

Installed a 12" pusher fan in front of my condenser on my fj80. It's just a universal fan rather than a jdm factory fan which saved me some money and it's bigger. I wired it to the AC amplifier so it comes on when the AC button is pushed. Hopefully it will help the AC be a tad cooler and help with engine Temps. I'm not running a fan shroud right now-it wasn't their when I got the rig- so hopefully installing one will also help. It won't be here for a few days.

Had all the locks on the HDJ81 rebuilt. I had been locked out twice (luckily not on the trail) when the keyless entry system wigged out. The physical locks were so gummed up they needed to be soaked a couple days in solvent to get them apart.

The dealerships use a locksmith in Arvada, who I highly recommend. His name is Jeff, and the company is Interstate Lock and Key. Pricing was VERY reasonable, so much so that I ended up paying him quite a bit more only because I thought his quote was unreasonably low for the work he did. Not on google so kinda hard to find: https://www.yellowpages.com/westminster-co/mip/auto-locksmith-459327136

Locks are clockwork smooth at this point, with new springs and shims. Also got new keys from Lexus (first time they've ever cut keys for a Yota). Never getting locked out again!

Had an opportunity to go ahead and sell my front axle so that lit a fire under my butt to get the elocked axle swap started. The "new" axle had already been broken down to parade rest and sand blasted. The warm-ish weather this weekend gave me a chance to paint it and one knuckle. However, the temperature quickly dropped so I brought it inside to finish curing. You can imagine the conversation that was provoked when my wife returned home from shopping.

Probably would be easiest to install the bare housing on the arms first. I've struggled swapping those axles complete into the arms. Its awkward weight. U doing the rear too?

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. It will definitely make it easier. And yes, doing the rear as well. It's been torn apart and sand blasted as well. If I would have been smart, I would have sprayed it the same time as the front, but I wasn't thinking.

Going back together!

Hi everybody, my name is Alex Bingham. I wired in 2 9" pro comp offroad lights, next I'm planning a cb radio install, skid plates and rock sliders. Any advise on what CB set up would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, and happy trails!

Looks great Alex! It was nice to meet you at the Cruise Moab Committee meeting Monday night. :)

For anyone who doesn't know Alex, his dad is James Bingham, a long time Rising Sun guy.
