Had the Smittybilt bumper sandblasted and re-coated. It's fine from 10 feet away, or more like 20 feet.

One of these days (years) you’ll have to bring the ‘85 down to Denver and let Gonzalo do his thing. Have you had the chance to see the ‘80 after he finished it up?

Started the day with a YotaWerx tune on Vixen from @Wheeelingals in the rain storm! So I got to bring out the peregrine 270 awning & determined that it needs to have the seams re-sealed.

Then as soon as it stopped raining, we got to do the test drive! 🎉🎉 So nice! No more pedal commander! So far, the YotaWerx tune is better than the CVC tune I had on it previously.
I'll report back once I have a few fill ups on it.
Then when the sun came out I unfurled the awning again to let it dry out & took that opportunity to reorganize my recovery gear & the cargo area for more functionality! Got some ideas to build a shelf in the back so I can install another pull out drawer for my third Plano case. It's either that or install it on the roof. But being as I'm so short accessing anything in it up there will be super hard....
I also got all of the stuff from the Expo taken out of Genni. If anyone was wondering, yes, the mini bike fit in the back of the 1st Gen.

Pulled the rear hubs last night to get them drilled by @IoN6 for the additional dowels RCV provides.

After seeing @rushthezeppelin 's neglected spark plugs from his Sequoia, I realized I hadn't changed out the plugs in my 60 for over 30k miles. When I pulled them, they were so nice! I'll tell ya, ever since the major gas stations started using that top tier business, I haven't had to buy any BG-44K or worry about the kind of deposits I used to see on my plugs and intake valves.

I got crazy with some hole saws, mounted my shackle mounts through the frame and notched the frame for spring clearance.

Lowered my spring over 3” !

Vehicle shuffle. 80 needs some downtime for maintenance. Got a busted tie rod and squealing water pump.

60 just waiting for me to have some quality time to spend... work, work, work.

Extended brake lines, new rotors, calipers, pads on the rear of the 80. Brake fluid flush.

Replaced timing belt on her '00 4Runner at 290K with my daughter. She learned a lot. Torquing the crank bolt with the help of long levers on both ends. Truck is running great, as expected.

Replaced sway bar end links on front of my Sequoia today. Old ones had very bad bushings (almost disintegrated) and I suspected was the cause of a creak. Tried to get the old ones of and of course the ball joint stud was so rusty that they started spinning. Then I stripped the Allen key in the end of the studs so I had to take the cutoff wheel to them. Got new ones on and the creak is now gone so I'm happy.
