How much beer will it take to clean this up?

New master has a leaking reservoir, cracked in shipping I'd guess. Installed, filled, let'er soak over a quick lunch break and awwww ffffuuu...

Toyotas finest $$ paint striper everywhere.

I guess I'll wash and install the nasty old reservoir, shipping these back and forth probably wouldn't be real fast or effective anyway.

All the money saved straight into touch up paint.

Couple of hot laps with the oil cap off should coat everything up real nice.

I saved about 500 bucks on the master vs local dealers so I can buy a lot of paint I guess.

New reservoirs are only like 160 :poop: I tried to do the right thing at least :ROFLMAO: mo brakes mo money.

Not my rig but I do feel a strong connection to it. With some serious effort a group of us were able to install the Wildernest to Dean’s ‘80 Hilux today. Another box checked to get the rig ready for Bring A Trailer.

Looking good! I'll be bidding, at least in the early round! ;)

I'm pretty sure I have some 1st gen front side marker lights if you need some Steve. From my old '81. Let me know and I'll dig through the parts boxes.

Natalie has found a couple of marker lights but I’m pretty sure we will need more. I’ll let you know, Martin and thanks. 👍

@DanS noted in a recent post that @SaintAgatha’s 40 is mechanically in excellent repair due to L43Dean’s diligence and skill. The ‘80 runs like a well maintained sewing machine as well as looking really sharp.

This diagram is my favorite part of A/C work on the 100, I call it the "container care prayer" :ROFLMAO:

Truck 1 - TB and WP assorted pulleys tensioners and fan pulley bracket.
Truck 2 - TB and WP, new steering rack
Loving how nice Truck 2 drives with the new rack.
On deck:
Remove bent ARB Sahara bumper and go back to stock.
Found rear hatch and lower gate with zero rust from a Land Cruiser. Will go on the LX . Slight color mismatch. Is it sacrilege to leave the LC badging on an LX?

Facelift. Do I go amber or white? The covers make for easy changes. I like the amber on LongCruiser. I love the old CIBIE Super Oscars (now for sale). The light output difference though....

Might be interested in the Cibies if they’re truly for sale. Let’s chat.

BD makes some really great lights! I personally love the option of having both so I like white with an amber dust cover.
