My $90 three pack of 1HD oil filters from Partsouq end up costing me $130 with the DHL adder. Wish I knew this before I ordered.
HDT/FT/FTE oil filters are a good US part number, 90915-30002 FYI

But I thought the other governments pay tariffs?

I ordered $30 worth of fasteners that became $69 after shipping which is still 50% less than buying stateside so I’ll let y’all know what turns out for the tariffs.

I may be ordering Birfields. Cruiser Outfitters doesn’t have their typical ones in stock. I’ll first check with Slee next week. their website says out of stock. Wouldn’t surprise me if they were out of stock waiting to see if the tariff situation might improve I’ll price it out from one of the Toyota dealers having the 25% off sale.
Daniel, Rand Paul explains tariffs well. It is a neat idea in theory but the reality is that tariffs are just another tax on the consumer. Other governments or large multi-national corporations aren't going to cover the increases, the end user will. Every. Single. Time.

I had to pass on a set of steelies from Japan. Regular parts from Japan are taxed at 25% but steel products get hit with a 50% tariff so I was looking at a $400+ bill for tariffs plus carrier service fees etc. etc. etc. Ended up going with aluminum wheels sourced from the FJ Company (made in Spain).

I was being sarcastic. Probably you too.

Details: Parts: $30.43
Shipping by DHL: 36.51
Total to Partsouk: 66.93

DHL Tariff charges: REGULATORY CHARGES (L1) 1.34
IMPORT EXPORT DUTIES (L2) 4.56
DUTY TAX PROCESSING (L3) 17.00
Total USD 22.90

66.93 + 22.90 = 89.83
$5.90 seems the actual tariffs
34% added by DHL
$5.90 is 20% of the parts portion (which is $30.43)
Without DHL $17 = $72.83

Sera Toyota Decatur sale price today with shipping: $65.96
Pickup at Stevinson with their sale price today: $52.37 ($68.52 plus shipping regular)
Brain damage: Priceless

The 90915-30002 has been used on a BUNCH of Toyota diesels. Basically after the H and B series were retired: everything uses them.

2LII series, 2LT-E, 3L, 1KZ, 1KZ-TE, 1PZ, 1HZ, 1HD-T, etc....

I've probably got half a case in our CONX here, and more in NM, if anyone really ends up needing them.

so...right when the diminutus was eliminated....I got dinged for $953 on an $1100 Partsouq order...yes. UPS. honestly it was my first PS order and didn't know about all the specifics of the new tariffs. right around august 1st/2nd was delivery.

I just placed another order last week - It's hung up at customs and I'm sure they are calculating the tariff bill. I'll post up here when I find out what's what.
Order was around $650 including shipping. Just got the $266.29 tariff invoice.

People with Criminal/ Illegal minds perform those activities and screw others without remorse. Popularity does not ever bend my mind (not a MF) and then Tariff refunds, laughing cause it will never be issued to regular income people, hold me to it and remind me, if !!! Like excrements, some unexpectantly got it, in a single Year. lol

How about a few more. ENJOY the Man in the Mirror.

Do we get refunds? I won’t bother to even try.

This capital infusion into the economy as we approach a possible recession is 4D chess at its finest that few will ever comprehend.
