That's your truck Marten! You can have my factory 4.375 differentials to swap out the 3.9's that are stock in there. Then that (cool) guy with the perma-grin and a pale (complexion) can buy back his 91.
I dunno, the condition of that 1981 might dictate only daring trying to get it up from Durango to Grand Junction. I mean, seriously, that rear bumper may only have 10, maybe 15 years left before it rusts off and I wouldn't think of putting the good people of Iowa at such risk with their copious use of road salt.

Noticed this parked for sale in Norwood when passing thru this past weekend. Looked like a fairly clean/original truck (from a drive by standpoint). No affiliation to seller.
I was the principal for a security detail in Porte au Prince, Haiti a few years ago and they transported me in an up-armored 80. I was staying at a place on the top of a hill and it took a *long* time for that poor 80 to get the five of us from the flatlands to to compound we stayed in. I would not be surprised if that 80, with the vehicle armor, the five of us, and all the hardware and body armor they had with them weighed >10,000 pounds. It was quite an experience.
