Reminds me of my old '80 & '82 pickups, I miss them. :o I would love an '81 with the round headlights and 22R! This one looks pretty darn clean.

That's your truck Marten! You can have my factory 4.375 differentials to swap out the 3.9's that are stock in there. Then that (cool) guy with the perma-grin and a pale (complexion) can buy back his 91.
;)

Heck yeah, Dean! Tell Dave that if he goes and picks up that '81 and drives it to my place in IA, he can drive home in his beloved '91! Even trade. :thumb:

I dunno, the condition of that 1981 might dictate only daring trying to get it up from Durango to Grand Junction. I mean, seriously, that rear bumper may only have 10, maybe 15 years left before it rusts off and I wouldn't think of putting the good people of Iowa at such risk with their copious use of road salt.

Does look to be missing the front stripes.

:o True Dave, that truck definitely needs to stay West and out of the Salt!

I think I recognize the driveway in the last pic. I might have to go check that one out. $4500 seems high but I don't follow the mini truck values.

The 3fe has enough trouble without the added weight of armor!

Can’t imagine how slow this thing is...hope the zombies are slower.

I was the principal for a security detail in Porte au Prince, Haiti a few years ago and they transported me in an up-armored 80. I was staying at a place on the top of a hill and it took a *long* time for that poor 80 to get the five of us from the flatlands to to compound we stayed in. I would not be surprised if that 80, with the vehicle armor, the five of us, and all the hardware and body armor they had with them weighed >10,000 pounds. It was quite an experience.
