Cruiser almost had hog for lunch today. Guy almost clipped my front bumper. Group of 4 asshats weaving through traffic.

How did you get those shots? I know my 250 has a camera integrated into the rear view mirror pod in the windshield, but I didn't know you could access its footage.

Lane filtering is a crock.
If utilized properly with style and grace it is quite efficient. Still sketchy if traffic is not stopped.
This guy was not lane filtering though. He was just trying to get that second date on his birth certificate cashed in.

Stereotyping but... Loud pipes save lives! You know what else does? Helmets.

I haven't really done much lane filtering on the moto yet. It's not so much me I worry about it's the other drivers, although there's so many Californians here now that maybe I shouldn't be too concerned.

People's Soviet Socialist Republic of California,
Lane splitting and filtering in California is AMAZING. The vast majority of riders here (me included) do it safely and sanely. A few obviously don't and quickly become meat crayons.

The cagers (car/truck drivers) are usually really good about giving us space and being attentive.

I ride a quiet bike but it looks like a cop bike which is even better than loud pipes. EVERYONE sees me on the road and gives me space.

Those dudes that nearly became a land cruiser hood ornament really need to think about what they want in life and if that includes being a quadriplegic or dead. Even the real motorcycle gang guys out here ride safely when lane splitting or filtering. It's extremely rare to see shenanigans like that.
