Lots of good pictures this year but some stand out more than others. I like these two from hiking Uncompahgre on Saturday.

First is a shot of me on top of the rather steep north face of Uncompahgre.
The second is a shot of Wetterhorn and Matterhorn taken from the back side right before you do the little scramble to the summit walk.

Nice! I'll be on top of Uncompahgre in a little over 2 weeks. How long did the hike take you?

It took two hours and twenty to the top. Really a great hike. Constant grade pretty much and not all that steep. Trail the whole way and less than four miles. Got a teensy little scramble section and then you're almost done. Definitely one of my faces.

Thanks for the beta. We are going to camp at or near the trailhead, hike, then I'm leaving for COS via Lake city so its good to know its a short hike.
